Princesses at Ariel's Grotto Dinner?

Make sure you know THERE ARE NO CHARACTERS AT DINNER! We always see families waiting and I want to shout at them "THERE ARE NO PRINCESSES"...

We dislike the food but my DD loves the princess interaction for lunch. Last trip we had Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and of course Ariel and all of the pictures look gorgeous. It's worth it to me to pay not to stand in the line to see them at the Fantasy Faire. As pp have mentioned they rotate a couple (Tiana, Minnie) but I usually see these 5.

So would you say it's duplicative to go both to the Fantasy Faire and Ariel's? We are doing Ariel's on our second day, so trying to decide if worth the wait on day 1 for Fantasy Faire. Is there more/less interaction at one or the other? Also, does Photopass photographers take pictures inside Ariels?

Does Ariel also go to the fantasy fair or is the only place to meet her at her meal?

My daughter is 2 1/2, debating if we want to do the meal or not. The last time I was there it just seemed so rushed and busy. But, Ariel is a major favorite (if only we could meet her with tail :() so I was thinking about doing the meal specifically to see Ariel.

We met Ariel at PFF on our trip in 2013 and 2014. It's really hit or miss though.

Photopass only takes a photo with Ariel before being seated at AG. No photographers inside with the other princesses. You'll need your own photo.

If you're doing AG regardless, then go ahead and do PFF. No harm if you find the line relatively short. You might pick up someone different you won't see at AG. I think the real question is whether to spend the money on the meal if you can do PFF for "free".

A couple weeks ago, we saw Ariel, Rapunzel, Belle, Tiana, and Cinderella.

The Tri-tip isn't bad at all. I'd recommend it.

We saw Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel & Jasmine at our breakfast in July.
My DD LOVES Jasmine, so that was a great surprise.
I would have loved to see Mulan and Tiana (my favorite).

Thanks for the info mom2rtk! My husband probably would agree with you :)

We saw Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Belle and Tiana at lunch. We booked for the the first lunch seating (right around 11?) and were out by 11:50. We liked the break and thought the food was good. We used our vouchers from Costco.
