whats the best strategy for meeting the princesses as you tour the countries? About how long are the waits and when should you get in line? Thanks!

Lines have never seemed to long for princesses when I have been to world showcase. I would recommend knowing when they will be available and getting in line 10-15 minutes prior. Snow White always seems to have a line by the well. I saw Aurora near France once and did not wait but maybe 10min. Alice (who I know is not a princess) moved fairly quickly. Maybe waited 15 min. For her.
They are all so enjoyable to meet. Worth the short wait

Not exactly what you're asking, but I think it'd be a great way to get kids interested in the countries - by explaining the country - princess correlation, and probably more importantly, the pics are SO pretty. Just in the world showcase, you can see Aurora, Jasmine, Belle, Alice, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Mulan and Anna/Elsa - they're always there and usually additional characters. I don't wait in the lines, but I love seeing them and the little kids getting excited about them. Just adds something.

We've never waited to meet princesses or other characters in WS (our DS just hasn't been interested) but we've walked by many times and the lines haven't seemed terribly long. We've occasionally seen people queued up before the princess comes out, so it's hard today how long they end up waiting.

Unfortunately, during our early March trip, we walked by a woman screaming at a CM in the UK pavilion because Mary Poppins wasn't meeting that day. The woman said she'd come to Epcot solely for Mary Poppins. Even sadder, her daughter was standing next to her while she berated the CM. It was so wrong on multiple levels.

So, moral of the story, make a tentative plan to see whoever you want to see, but realize it's not the end of the world if you don't, and it's certainly not worth verbally abusing someone over. :(

Step 1: prioritizing WHO IS A MUST SEE
Ex: Mary, Alice, Jasmine, Snow all meet in Magic Kingdom too
-Belle, Aurora, Mulan, Anna & Elsa, ONLY meet in Epcot (unless you include Enchanted Tales but that's more of an experience than a personal meet & greet)
Belle & Mulan both start right at 11:00am, Belle's line is usually the longest and just gets crazier throughout the day

Our strategy is usually to play in Future World for a bit, riding Soarin and maybe the Seas, then head over to France, grab a coffee/mimosa and a pastry and then wait by the rope around 10:40 (depending on crowd level) to go straight to Belle at 11.
I'm 99% sure Jasmine starts at 11:45, so we would go there after, and then head over to China for Mulan's 2nd set at 12:00
-Aurora's first set is at 12:30, returning every hour (except for the midday break) until I believe 6:30, you can choose when to head back over here.
-I'm not sure how morning crowds are in Norway, but location wise it would make sense to head there after Mulan, and then explore WS a bit before heading back to France for Aurora

-It can be easily done, but definitely can involve a LOT of walking back & fourth, and later in the day the lines can get rather long and can be cut off before the character is even out, try to get there at least 15 mins before! Grab a times guide on the way in to make sure you have the times on you, and again, prioritize who is a must see for you

Also remember that the even though the times guide says a specific character will be there, sometimes their pesky prince's need help in the castle, so there might be no one there, or there might be someone else instead. (ie, Cinderella has been seen in France before, BUT NOT VERY OFTEN)

We consider all the wonderful International World Showcase Cast Members to be "Princesses" and enjoy meeting them as well!:)

My DD has always been a characters addict, so we have made the WS princess rounds many times. The key is to be in line about 15 minutes before a Princess comes out. Once the Princess comes out and gets visible the line gets long extremely fast. It is not unusual for the line for Jasmine, Belle, or Mulan to get cut off within 5 minutes of them appearing. We have arrived right when Mulan was supposed to come out and found her line already cut off. Kenny the Pirate is a great resource for the meet and greet times. Snow White, Alice and Mary Poppins generally have the shorter lines- getting in line about 5 minutes before they come out is usually enough, and sometimes you can even get there after they are out and be fine.

Someone, please help me. I don't think I've ever seen Jasmine in MK, except for at CRT. Am I missing her somewhere? My son is a Jasmine fan (what young man isn't??) Anyway...if I can see her in MK, I would love to have that option.

Jasmine meets in Adventureland near the Magic Carpets in MK. The left end of the gift shops, as you face them. She is there throughout the day and her schedule is printed on the times guide. Her line does get cut off too, but plan to get there before the set is scheduled to start and you should be fine. She usually meets with Aladdin in the Magic Kingdom

I think it depends on who you want to meet! My friends and I started with Anna and Elsa shortly after 11 and waited about 30 minutes.

Then we went and did some future world stuff, then made our way to Belle and waited about 20 minutes, but we got in line at the end of one meet and greet so we were the first ones for her next one.

I think the CMs who are attending to the line are really good at communicating to you the times of meet and greets and how long it might take. They'll cut the line for the last one so people don't get in line just to be turned away without any prior knowledge. Similarly the CM informed us that Belle would be leaving but that we'd be first (or very close to first) for her next one at 4:50 (or something to that effect).

But take a look at where else you can meet some of them. For example, Mary Poppins and Jasmine were both in MK. Mary Poppins and Alice were at our 1900 Park Fair Breakfast.

I don't see Aurora in the line up on the Disney website for Epcot, am I missing something???? Because I'd love to add her to our schedule if she is available!

Where does Snow White meet in MK?? I thought the only place to meet her was at a character meal or in the WS?

You can pick up a card in the front of the park with all the characters meet and greet times. Some are not as crowded as others. I know that I waited over an hour for Jasmine and Aladdin and many people were turned away from the line but it was the last meeting of the day.

Completely Agree!! Pick your must see then check the times guide and work off of that. We also start the day in Future World and we at the UK pavilion at 11:00.

I can offer our experiences from July trips - Mulan's line fills up very quick & has the potential to be closed before she is even out for that particular set. Same goes for Aladdin & Jasmine. Check the Times Guide, see who starts the earliest & start in that country, then walk around to each that is on your Must See list. It is a lot of walking & standing around in the HOT sun (except for Jasmine & Aladdin as well as Elsa & Anna).

In some countries the kids can play the Agent P game to pass the time waiting in line (I think UK & Germany).

THOUGHTS -
- Have only met Jasmine at Epcot IN her Meet & Greet which is at the back of Morocco, easily missed.
- Her line at MK is popular so be prepared to wait but often with Aladdin.
- Have not seen Snow White in MK in some time (Town Square).
- Personally think she should have something perm by 7DMT.
- Epcot we found longest lines are Snow White and Mulan.
- Use the MDE APP = it tells you who is at the park and their hours! Very helpful in planning.

Is this the Times Guide or is it something different? Thanks.:)
I think so. It was next to the map of the park. It had every character meet and greet listed and all their times so you can plan accordingly. One thing I noticed was the lines that were a little hidden and out of the way had the shortest wait times.
