I ordered my Dd3 a princess tiara from disneydeals on ebay, it's from WDW and has places to put snap on jewels or something, do they still sell the jewels and snap on pieces at WDW anywhere? If they do can anyone please tell me where and how much they are. The tiara is pink and is adjustable with velcro on the back, can even fit an adult. She'll love it for her birthday!! princess:

They are EVERYWHERE! In every store just about and at many little stands all over the place. The jewels range from $3-$10 and some are plastic, some are metal like a pin with pictures of the princesses, they really vary a lot. I bought them off disneydeals too because in the park the crown itself is $10-$12 alone. It's a pretty pricey thing. There are also veils you can snap onto them and happy birthdays and things like that. This was the one thing my dd wanted that I was unwilling to spend the money on, but next time we go she'll get to buy the charms for hers with her own money. Have a great time!

We found ours at Tinks Treasures inMK. I agree they can become very expensive. By the time my DD puchased the crown and 6 jewels the price was over $25! But that was the day she got to wake up Tink after our breakfast in the castle and she wanted something special. She still has it and will probably add more jewels this year-- you see she ran out of money before every spot was filled!
Just a work of caution --make sure the jewels snap on tightly. One of hers - the more expensive one-- kept falling off until I Super Glued it on.

I was wondering if those were the same tiaras that they sell at WDW--I think I might get DD the crown for her birthday (the first day of our trip) and let her pick out some charms for her birthday princess:

Do they sell the charms at the outlet mall, I wonder? I'm sure they are full price, but I'm thinking it might be a less crowded option than DTD on a Saturday, LOL...

We did this at the Princess store in the Contemporary Resort - down the walk way from Chef Mickey's.

They had all kinds of jewels, but some of them didn't snap on very tightly, so I'd be careful when you're putting them on.

We bought a few extras - just incase!

They also have a veil you can attach to it :)

I didn't see them at any of the outlet shops when we were there in May. I ordered the lot of 4 crowns from Disneydeals.com and they came the other day. There are snaps for 11 jewels/embellishments--one in the middle and 5 on each side. I'm thinking this is going to add up in $ quickly. We might buy a few each day to spread out the excitement. My DD loves crafts so I think she will really enjoy this activity.

The nice thing about the tiara is that the snap bases are not very noticable, so I was thinking just one really nice one for the center would be pretty. The veil sounds neat too. Unfortunately it doesn't look like disneydeals has any left. I wasn't sure what they were when I ordered them, I was pleasantly surprised and just paid 2.00 each. Thanks for all the help, I guess they still sell them at the World!! September seems so far away!!

Wow...$2.00 each is a great deal.

They were pretty expensive at WDW. They were everywhere...most resort gift shops, a few places at MK, a few places at Epcot, Once Upon a Toy store at Downtown Disney.

I thought they were the cutest thing. I was sure DD would want one and that would be her special souvenier from WDW. While making one the jewels kept coming off. It was quite frustrating. In the end DD changed her mind and put it all back and found something else as her souvenier.

They were the cutest, neatest, girly-est, unique thing I've seen in a while and I think I wanted one more than DD did. :flower:

I'm hopeful that they will return to Disney Deals, it's just my luck that I decide to order them and now there are none. hmph. OTOH, they seem to be restocking like crazy AND there's a code! :)

It's too bad that there seems to be a problem with the jewels staying on, I guess it's good to have a head's up to make sure we get one that really sticks. Murphy's Law runs rampant at our house, ;) so I'll have to be extra careful!! Thanks for the warning!!!

My daughter got the Tiara, veil and stones about a year ago. We get them at World Of Disney in DD. That way we can get the 10% AP discount. We bought her some extra stones in January. I have the receipt in front of me. They were .75, and $1.50, each. I believe the larger ones, with the princess picture's and dangles were $3 (we had enough of those). :sunny:
