Princess Tiana

Will be at DLR the last week of March and my 5 year old DD's first priority is meeting Princess Tiana. Can someone tell me where to find her? I am really hoping we can find her somewhere other than PFF . . . those lines are sooo painful.

I was in DL from 25Feb-2Mar. There is a sign in NOS that Princess Tiana can now be seen at the PFF. I'm guessing she's not in NOS anymore.

Yes, she is no longer in New Orleans Square since her showboat jubilee ended. PFF is the only spot I think, unless she shows up at Ariel's Grotto?

We have ADRs at Ariel's Grotto so that would be nice, but I'd be surprised. Anyone have an idea of the best time to go to PFF? Last time we arrived for rope drop and headed directly to Pixie Hollow and still had to wait 45 minutes!

We were there on Sunday. They did the Jubilee right on the steps in New Orleans Square, since the boats are not running. And they announced that she'd be signing autographs in Court of Angels, though we didn't stop by to see.

I just called Disneyland. They said that Tiana has a show called Princess Tiana's Mardi Gras Celebration in New Orleans. Not sure if it's the same as the Showboat Jubilee. But be what the previous poster said. Because the boats are down for refurb, they moved it to the streets of NO. She said on the phone that between shows, Princess Tiana will be in the Fantasyland Theater at the Princess Fantasy Faire. But also advised that you speak to the cast member at the info booth on the end of Main Street.

It really is pretty good (just not as extravagant as the Showboat Jubillee). It's just Tiana, a few dancers and the band.

We saw 2 shows the day the pic above was taken. The first show we saw, Tiana sang 4 or 5 songs, then posed for pictures and signed autographs. The next show, she only sang 1 song, then posed for pictures and signed autographs. Not sure if something went wrong with the second show???

I was so bummed when she moved to PFF. We're going next week with my niece who hasn't met her and I'm hoping that Tiana is back in NO for spring break. If not I'll be keeping the line warm while the others eat.

We watched Tiana's show in New Orleans Square twice a couple weeks ago--the band announced that only the kids who were up on stage would get to talk with Tiana but that she'd be back for the next show (went the second time to try to do this, but same announcement.) Hope it's a meet & greet op for everyone after the show now, or that my daughter will decide to go up on stage this time (headed to DL tomorrow!)

We saw Tiana do her show "Mardi Gras Celebration" in NOS yesterday. It was cute. She did not sign any autographs, just performed her show and left (though the kids could go up on stage during the last song or two and dance with Tiana and the dancers). A PP mentioned a show with just one song - this was probably a meet & greet rather than a show. The Times Guide only mentions show times, but there are other times for Meet & Greet - they announced them after the show we watched.

My DD wants to find Naveen . . . anyone know if he is still around anywhere???

We were disappointed -- left our room at the GC specifically to hike through DCA, across the entrance plaza, and through DL to make it to NOS in time for Tiana's show, waited about 15 minutes, but it turned out to only be a Meet and Greet -- even though it was listed as a show in the park guide for the day. It was the only day of of trip that her show was on, so that was a let down. The CM there said she was only doing M&G that day, no songs, although the band and costumed performers were there -- maybe she had a frog in her thoat? Wonder if they'll still be doing it in September when we go back -- or if it will be back on the boat (if the ROA refurb is done)?

I am just subscribing to this thread beacuse we arrive in DL in 6 days & I.....err....I should say my daughter was really hoping to be able to catch this show &/or meet Princess Tiana. Happy to hear that the show was still on a couple of days back!!
