I just booked the Princess Tea Party for my 4 1/2 year old daughter, I know it is very expensive but I decided what the heck. I hope it is worth the money.

If she wants to sit beside one of the characters have her sit near either end of the long table.;)

My daughter thought the Mad Hatter was very funny. He put his cupcake inside of his tea cup. He asked her if she knew what it was. "A cupcake, of course!"

I think the last poster is referring to the Wonderland Tea Party. At the Princess Tea Party, there will be a placecard for you and your child at your seat. I went with DD4 in August and it was wonderful. It was expensive, but worth every penny. The whole thing is very well done. The food is good, and Rose Petal and Aurora were great. If you want to know any more details, let me know.

I was asking about the Princess tea Party not the Wonderland. I would like to know if you felt like it was worth the price. We had "ariel" come to my daughters bday and paid $150 for an hour so if you look at the entertainment aspect it probably is. I was wondering if the doll was like an "american girl doll" as far as quailty. I know my 41/2 year old will love it and it is going to be a surprise for both grandmothers. They took us to disney this year and last so I thought it was worth the price to show them my appreciation for taking my family to disney 2x. I

My daughter, my husband, and I attended this event last Fall when it was in "test pilot" mode. We had a lovely time. I wrote about it in my trip report -- click here for trip report -- just look for the post entitled "Grand Floridian Day Two, Part 1" on that webpage. I also have a link in there to a few photos of the event. You'll get to see the doll that my daughter received at the tea party.

Although I loved the tea, I'm not really impressed with the doll. I think they retail for about $45. My DD doesn't have any American Girl dolls, so I can't really compare them, but the Disney doll's hair is kind of nappy. I haven't even attempted to get a brush through it, it seems as though the hair would get all big and frizzy.
