Princess Tea or Bippity Bobbity Boutique ???

Tracers, you can do BBB for $35/each child if you choose the coach package (hair and makeup) and bring costumes from home. So your cost would be $70/BBB and then $275 for the tea, plus tax. If you went with Charmedlife idea of the wonderland tea, then it would be $90 for the tea. I have heard this tea is lots of fun, but parents are not included. Oh , the things we do for our princesses:lovestruc

hehehe ... my husband will choke when I tell him how much this is going to cost! BUT one pretty please from each of his girls and he will melt!! :lovestruc
I guess I forgot to mention that Mema (my mom) will be attending as well. However she was shocked when I told her how much it would cost. She is trying to talk me out of doing the tea, but I know the girls will have such a good time. This would be the highlight of thier trip. Maybe if I can take a the tips from the DIS boards and purchase "goodies" before we go and do the Tink gifts each morning..... hummmm.... may have to think a little more on this and get REALLY creative. :)

My girls loved the Tea Party (cost about $399 with tax and gratuity for 3 of us). The picture in my siggy is from the Tea Pary. They play with the dolls and we bought extra dresses for them at the gift shop in the GF resort. You will enjoy it.

Did your girls get a lot of interation w/Arura (sp?) It looks very nice. I am leaning on just doing it and not worrying about how much the cost it. :rolleyes1

The Wonderland Tea Party is a one-hour, children only party at the Grand Floridian. Cost is about $28/child + tax and is hosted by Alice & the Mad Hatter. Kids have a small lunch and decorate a cupcake while being entertained with Alice & MH. We are doing the BBB in the morning and going over to the Grand Floridian for the Tea Party (M-F from 1:30-2:30 pm) in the afternoon.

Just a note, my daughter (6) thought it was a plus that parents weren't included... ;-)

I will say that I thought the typical age for this party, from the kids that I saw leaving (since we weren't allowed to stay) was between 4 and 7. There was one girl there who was clearly much older than the rest of the kids, maybe around 10, and she looked a little out of place. She probably didn't enjoy it as much as my daughter.

For anyone who does do the Wonderland Tea Party, I highly suggest sending a disposable camera in with your child so she / he can take pictures, and they will also take pictures of your child with Alice and the Mad Hatter (who my daughter thought was HILARIOUS). I had read that tip here on the DIS boards and was glad I did!

Also a side note - if doing BBB again, I would suggest not doing the middle package that includes the nails. For $10 extra dollars my daughter had someone paint her nails - not a regular "manicure" (like the "My First Manicure" at Saratoga Springs, which by the way is totally cool, too), but actually just taking 2 minutes to put nail polish on her nails. Next time I'm going to skip it and just paint her nails myself when we get to Disney. She did wear her own dress there and certainly didn't feel she was missing out on anything from some of the girls who were getting the dresses there, she didn't even notice that it was going on.

Whatever you choose (and you have many choices), your princess will love it!
