I've wondered about this same thing. I think my DW would love to bring my DD to it but I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. Can anyone help us out?

I have heard that the tea party is great. I have decided to pass and do the regular afternoon tea at the GF. They have a menu called Mrs. Potts tea. They serve choc. milk instead of tea and have a selection of desserts for the kids. I have a 5 yr. old son and I don't feel like splitting up the family for an afternoon. I have heard that many boys enjoy the regular afternoon tea. I think it was around $25 for adults and the kids were under $10. If I remember correctly.

My niece and daughter went this summer while my nephew did the pirate cruise...great day for all. I have repeated the story on several threads...if you do a search you will surely find it...its filled with many details of the day.

Sorry I don't have time to look it up now - headed off tot he same nephew's bday party.

DD4 and I did the Princess Tea in August and both of us loved it. The event was very well done. The staff was very attentive as were Rose Petal and Aurora. I thought it was well worth the $200.

my dd5 and i did this last october. it was wonderful! i was "iffy" about spending that much money, but it was really worth it. you do get nice gifts, a sleeping beauty doll w/birth certificate, a charm bracelet, a crown and scrapbooking pages. i think that was all the gifts. rose petal is really good at storytelling, very animated and everything was so fancy and cute! all the little girls were dressed up. my dd and i dressed in similiar colors. it was a really neat experience for us. when sleeping beauty came out, she led the girls around the room, and sang w/them. she spoke w/them for awhile and did sit w/each girl for a couple minutes. my dd absolutely loved it.

DH and I took DD7 in Dec. and she loved it. Aurora is her favorite. Even now, DD will just come up to me and tell me thank you for taking her to the tea.

How do I get more information on this? I'm out of the disney loop :earseek:

but! we're going again this year so... LET THE PLANNING BEGIN :jumping4:

I have wondered about this as well but wasn't sure what my DH and DS would do while we were there. What is the pirate cruise?

Would the tea the the GF be just as good so we don't have to split up?

There was supposed to be a little boy there the day we went - they had a gold crown and a teddy bear ready. I was curious to see how he would have liked the party.
