A friend of mine went to Disney last fall, and she took her Daughter to something like a Princess Tea. She said it was wonderful, but I haven't seen her again to get more detail! Does anyone know what she is talking about and have any information?

Also, will it be hot in mid October? Hot enough to plan to swim?

Thanks!

Can't help with the first part of the question, but we were there the 16th-24th of October this past year, and it was very warm. A few of the days were low 80's with cool evenings, but several of the days were near 90 and very humid. Plenty warm for swimming.

There are 2 tea parties...

The Wonderland Tea Party is an hour long and parents are not allowed to stay. Children must be a certain age (I think at least 4?) and they usually have a party with Alice in Wonderland. It costs about $28. My daughter did this one last Feb and LOVED it... it was the highlight of her trip!

There is also the My Princess Tea Party (or something close). I just made my reservations today for Mother's Day. It's an hour and a half long and is $200 for an adult and child. They get a My Disney Girl Doll, a tiara, a bracelet and tea and light lunch for mom and daughter. There are wonderful reviews of this on the board and also www.allearsnet.com.
