Are boys allowed??? Much to my husbands dismay I think my 4 yo would want to go;) But if he can't I think maybe we will skip this.
Anything else princess related boys shouldn't attend?? For the record, we have a 6yo dd who thinks she "IS" a disney princess! I am not just trying to take my son. lol I just don't want to split us up.

We went last year around this time and I remember that they do have a package for boy, too. The cost is the same but the boys receive teddy bears instead of Aurora dolls. There were no boys there when we went, but that doesn't mean they can't go. My Ds turned 2 while we were there, so he was just too little to enjoy it. He did get lots of attention and kisses from the princesses at our lunch at Akershus and he loved it as much as his 4 yo sister. In fact he wouldn't let us wash his kisses off his cheeks!

Another option for your son is the wonderland tea party at the GF. Now, don't get me wrong--it had it's share of girls but at least the Mad Hatter was there for a little male bonding! My DS4 had a great time. I was very impressed with the decorating of the tables. Food is served as well as cupcakes. It's a great alternative for your DS.

Okay am I understanding this right? It would cost $450 for 4 people to have sandwiches at this tea party????????:scared:

Boys are allowed. Only one boy was there when we went. It was the whole family Mom, Dad, Big Sis and him. He definitely looked like he was very bored and wanted to be somewhere else. He was about 4 or 5.
It probably would depend on each individual boy if he would enjoy/tolerate the princess tea.

It's aimed at and planned for GIRLS...giving a little guy a teddy bear and "crown" as opposed to a doll and a tiara is not going to make it any less feminine! My neighbor took her daughter and her son and she said that he was SO bored...at one point he asked very loudly if there were going to be any TRUCKS or PIRATES?!:lmao: It is a tea party plain and simple, not that boys can't enjoy tea parties, but I would say that it's so obviously for girls and their moms that most little boys would not be fooled by a bear and a crown! My neighbors boy gave the bear to his sister b/c "boys don't like bears that play with dolls!" (this is what he said...at age 4!)
