A friend of mine is planning a trip, and she has a slightly older guidebook which mentions a princess storytelling at Tinkerbell's Toy Shop. Does anyone know if this is still done, and if so, can anyone give me an approximate idea of where the toy shop is?
thx

ETA - her 4 yr old DD is insane about princesses (shocker!), so they are trying to maximize their 'princess exposure'!

The book and information is outdated. They used to have storytelling in the Princess Shop just through the castle, but not anymore.

Now all princess storytelling takes place at Princess Fantasy Faire. Times are posted at the entrance to the Faire and take place several times daily. They will not, however, tell you who will be telling the story ahead of time.

Thanks DM - I had a feeling you would know the answer to that one!:thumbsup2
So, basically, she just needs to maximize the time they spend at the Faire, and that should be most of the Princess experiences (besides Ariel's Grotto?) I am assuming the same rule applies here as FL - do the Faire as early as possible to avoid insane lines/waits later in the day? :confused3 (sorry - I haven't paid much attention to the princess stuff, being that my dd is only 19 mo old, so she really couldn't care less about princesses!)

If you are staying onsite the hotels have a TV channel that features the Princesses telling their stories as well. Just an fyi.

If she wants to maximize exposure I would suggest a meal at Ariel's Grotto. The food is good (not gourmet but not disgusting) and you meet 5 Princesses or characters related to Princesses. :) Sometimes Wendy or the Fairy Godmother is there but everytime we've been it's been Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Aurora or Jasmine. Ariel is always there, it is her restaurant after all. :)

Other places to meet a princess:

Ariel (with fin in her shell) at King Triton's Gardens
Jasmine & Aladdin at Aladdin's Oasis Storytime Adventures in Adventureland
Drawn to the Magic show in the Hollywood Backlot of DCA always features one princess
Snow White is currently regularly appearing outside the Animation Studio in DCA along with Dopey and the Old Hag.

HTH!

Thanks everyone! I will print this out and give it to my friend. I owe her a few favors, since it will be her stroller we are using to schlep all our stuff and the kids around the parks!
Thanks again!
