I am sure this is already posted here somewhere.. but are the princesses for the Princess Storybook Dinner in Epcot still Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel, and Aurora? Is it the same for breakfast and lunch too?
We just got back from WDW, and are planning our return trip in August already! ;)

They rotate - When we went in September we saw Belle, Mulan, Aurora, Snow White and Esmeralda. No Jasmine or Ariel that time. I don't think Cinderella does the epcot dinner. I think she does CRT and 1900 park.

We went in May and we saw Alice, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine

We went early Dec. and saw Cindy, Snow White, Aurora, Ariel.

My wife and I took our 2 girls and boy to the Princess Storybook Dinner at Akershus on Friday, 12/09/05. We were greeted near the front door by Belle in her gold dress. We also met Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and Jasmine.

The idea that they rotate the cast gets me nervous because I'm sure that my DD would especially love to see Belle in her yellow dress, but our trip isn't until mid-March.

Then again, my dd is pretty easy-going and will be thrilled just to be in Disneyworld and see ANY characters. Belle would be icing on the cake, though!!!!

They don't rotate the princesses. It's basically whoever is available that day. There is a 'scheduled' group of princesses who are SUPPOSED to appear which is the group you have listed ie Cindy, Belle, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine. Belle is not in her yellow ball gown for the lunch dinner and ariel is not normally at breakfast. You should never count on any one princess being there because anything can happen that day and plans change. Aladdin has even made appearances in place of a princess! But I am sure you will all have fun regardless of who you see there!

We were at the storybook dinner a few weeks ago. While waiting to go in for the photo op prior to being seate, we were told that the picture would be taken with Ariel. Instead, it turned out to be Belle in her yellow dress. The princesses that came to the table were Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Aurora, and Cinderella. It was fun and I got some cute pictures of the niece and nephew. Too bad my sis won't let me post them!

Thanks everyone! In light of the price increase at CRT, and that next summer we are staying in the Beach Club I was thinking of giving PSB a try as ~ both DD's LOVE Cindy, so if there is a fairly good chance she'll be there for dinner plus Belle in her gold gown & Ariel too- I think we will try it! :flower:

Ok, dinner looks like Belle in her gold dress for the picture & meet and greet when you get there and Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and Jasmine make the rounds during dinner.

Is Ariel more likely to be there for lunch?
When have guests seen her at PSB?

You could check with the CMs about when Belle will appear in France. I believe she wears her blue dress, but if DD wants to see her, that might be a good option. Belle was at the Akershus lunch when we went, but as others have said, the lineup does change......

We just got back and had lunch there on 01/13. The princesses we saw were Ariel at the door for pictures and Belle, Alice in Wonderland, & Mulan came to the table.

We had dinner there recently--we saw Cinderella, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Jasmine.

We did not enjoy the food at all. Did you?

Early December trip for breakfast we saw Belle at the front door. Mulan, Aurora, Snow White, and Jasmine came to the table.

i posted this question somewhere else but ah...um... kinda can't find it. :confused3 Is it as hard to get seatting at Ankershus as it is at CRT? How is the food .... served or buffet? Is it good? Is there alot of ethnic foods? My kids aren't big on fish. :crazy2: Which meal would be better, breakfast, lunch or dinner? :scratchin I know what they serve for breakfast, but not the other two. Feel free to PM me as i tend to lose these. lol

Our group was not too fond of the food either. In fact I know we will never go back to Akerhaus again to eat. It just did not appeal to us, the taste of the food. We are adventerous eaters and like to sample the cuisines of other regions however the food here was not to our liking. Even the kids meal of pasta and meatballs was not to either one of our kids liking. DH tasted it and said it had quite a sugary taste that he nor the kids liked. The kids who both tried quite a few of the cold buffet items plus their pasta and meatballs actually had to be fed in Mexico after the meal because they did not eat enough to fill them up.

We were there for dinner last May, and Jasmine (DH's favorite  ), Ariel, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, & Belle (in her blue dress) came by our table - no Snow White.

The Cinderella we saw at PSB was actually better & friendlier than the one we saw later in the week at CRT. Our 3 year old DS was dressed up as Peter Pan, and our 5 year old DD was dressed as Tinkerbell. Cinderella was so nice - she had DS "escort" her to DD, then she took both of them & we have some lovely pictures of all 3 of them pointing to the "2nd star to the right". By contrast, the Cinderella at CRT barely spoke 3 words to us.

(For comparison, at CRT breakfast, Cinderella, Mary Poppins, Wendy, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, & Belle came by our table - Snow White was the best - true Disney magic! :goodvibes )

We didn't like the food at PSB dinner much either - not because we don't like to try other kinds of food - it just wasn't all that good, & we weren't impressed at all.

The setting was nice, however.

This year, we wanted to try another World Showcase restaurant. We weren't planning on doing PSB again (because of the food), and I have an ADR at CRT. However, I've been hearing things about the new CRT character meals, & I'm worried that the other princesses won't be there. Snow White is our favorite, so I may book PSB anyway - even though we didn't see Snow White at PSB last year - just to increase our chances...

Oh geez... now I just don't know. We were there for breakfast in 2003, and it really wasn't anything we enjoyed- but we are there for the princesses and our DD's llove of them, kwim?
Maybe we'll just go once for dinner and hope for Cindy, Ariel & Belle... if it hasn't changed much, why do I want to dine there twice?

mom2cookies~ PSB is not as hard to get as CRT generally.
