I posted this on another board too, but I wanted to see if DP people could help me. I'm thinking about doing one princess meal for DD (22 months when we travel) and I think I'm leaning towards the princess storybook meal (lunch) at Epcot.
Can anyone tell me if this is still 1 TS??? We are going in November and I know it will include a photo pack. then. Can anyone tell me more about this?? What is it? How many photos? We will have 2 adults, 3 kids on the DP and then DD.
Thanks in advance!

We haven't been with the new photo pack, but I can tell you about the character meal. I'm pretty sure it is still 1 TS, and hopefully it will stay that way, although the cash price has gone WAY up. (We don't use DDP any more, so we're paying cash.)

The princess meal at Norway is, IMHO, a GREAT character event. It will be perfect for your DD for two reasons. The first is, she's a little kid, and little kids are often frightened by character costumes. We made the mistake of doing Chef Mickey's as our first character meal when DD was almost 3, and it started out as a disaster. She got used to it, and was fine, but it was a rocky start. The princesses at Norway are real humans -- although they are royalty -- so that's less of an issue for little kids.

The other thing that's great is the format of the event itself. There will be one princess for the photo op on the way into the meal. That's where the photo package will come from. While you are eating, another 4-5 princesses will work their way around the restaurant. They take plenty of time, signing autographs, posing for pictures, chatting with the kids. There is more character interaction at this event than just about any other character meal.

We've done the princess meal three times, and are going back for a fourth time in May. We haven't done any other character event more than twice, so you can see our princess loves this one!

We love the Princess Storybook lunch! We have done CRT and we enjoy the Storybook lunch much better. It is really laid back. You get your picture taken with a princess when you go in and then the other princesses make their way around the room. They interact very well with the kids. The food isn't bad. They have a cold bar witch my picky eaters eat off of. The kid food is normal and I always get the salmon and potato leek soup. Not brave enough to try the other stuff. The dessert tray is good too. We always leave full and happy! This will be our fourth time doing it. Last september we had to pay for the photo pack. Is it included now? That would be exciting because I think it is 1TS still.

Ooh.. I would like to know the answer to OP's question too! We are leaning towards this one also.

Sorry not much help but at least this bumps it up so it can catch the attention of someone who might know!;)

I booked it the other day and the Cm said, "This is a 1 TS credit resteraunt." It is a good deal. I'm betting that it will be 2 for 2009.

So on the dining plan it is still only one credit and you still get the Photos?!!! Did I miss this?

I asked specifically if it would stay 1 credit when I booked for July and the CM said yes, only 1 credit.

There has been no indication whatsoever that it will change to 2 TS credits. As previous posters have said, we've all been told 1 TS credit when booking. Here is some info on the photo package:

Okay, that settles it! We will have to fit this in! Now I just have to decide between Brkfst or lunch!

Thanks for all the info.
