I'm loving all these positive reviews of Akershus.
It is the only meal we have planned that I'm a little nervous about. DS is excited about the venison stew even to the point of not minding the princesses (much) and DD loves the Princesses, so we'd probably go ahead and try it regardless of the reviews, but it is nice to hear good things about it.

I would go back but probably try their breakfast next time perhaps. They do say that the princesses rotate and none are guaranteed at any meal (but you will see 5 of them). I'm sure you'll enjoy the experience, especially if you have little princesses in your family. My boys survived and, actually, they didn't complain once! Have fun
We have ADRs for lunch here in September. I was also worried about the menu. My kids are not picky but some of the descriptions don't sound very appealing. Glad to know both the food and interaction are good!
He also recommended the movies in China (which we sadly missed) and France, but not in Canada, which is outdated and you have to stand
