I told DH that we were gonna do PSD for our anniversary breakfast and then told him the price! Yea, he was NOT very pleased. He was like I dont care if we eat there or not, I dont care about the princesses and the photo package. Im more for the food. And I was like well, fine I will cancel it, it was supposed to be for our anniversary, but if you dont care, I will cancel. And then he was like no, no, no, your not gonna cancel anything. So now I really dont know what to do. Should I keep our ADR or just say screw it and eat somewhere else for our anniversary breakfast? If we eat anywhere else, it would either be Mara or Boma.

Well, if its an anniversary meal and the other half is not happy, then you need to book something where he will be happy.

The Mara is the food court at AKL; Boma is a sit-down buffet.

Is seeing the princesses worth the money to you- i think that is the question you have to ask because you certainly ARE NOT paying for the food there. I mean, it is not bad but those are certainly some pricey eggs:rotfl2: There are plenty of other good breakfast choices that perhaps you can pick one to agree with him- maybe Cape May if you want to do characters?

I vote for Boma (make ressies) or Cape May Cafe (if you want to see characters and make it a more festive occasion). You could even order an anniversary cake for b'fast and, if you're eating at Bomas and staying at AKL, you could take the leftover cake to your room b4 you decide what to do for the day.
Another option would be Kona. It gets great reviews for b'fast.

DH and I are staying at AKL so thats why I mentioned Boma or Mara. I already have plans on ordering a cake for room delivery on arrival day. Although we will be eating Mara a bunch of other days, and its our anniversary. So where we go should be special. Not CS.

Kona is out. We arent gonna go all the way up to the Poly and then all the way down to Epcot. Thats just to much time consuming. A breakfast at one of the Epcot resorts would be douable though.

I wouldn't be going to the storybook breakfast for the food. I mean it is ok but nothing worth a trip just for the food.
