Princess Sofia M&G starting in July?

Just heard on a FB page that Sofia will be replacing Handy Manny at HS in the animation courtyard starting July 18th. Please say this is true! My girls LOVE Sofia & would flip out if they got to meet her. Anyone know if this is true?

I think the plan for now is to keep Handy Manny at Hollywood and Vine but Sofia will be taking his spot at Animation Courtyard.

Looks like the rumor was true! The Disney blog sent out the official announcement today! Sofia is meeting now in DL and later this summer she will begin in DW in Hollywood studios

Am I the only one who is sad to see Handy Manny go? Don't get me wrong, I am really excited about Sophia. My nephews love her. But they love Manny too. And if she replaces his M&G, how long till she replaces him at H&V? And then where will they get to meet him?

I agree, they have M and G's with other older characters, I would like to see him somewhere. They hardly show repeats of his show anymore either

I was thinking if anyone would be replaced by Sophia or Doc (my big big hope) at Hollywood & Vine it would be Oso & June. Both shows are very rare (Oso more so than Little Einsteins) and not part of the regular daytime line up for Disney Junior...2 boysL Jake & Manny & tow girls Sophia and Doc would make the most sense to me. Just seems to take awhile t work out the kinks I guess??
