Okay, where is the best place to see Ariel? We have ressies at CRT and Norway, but I really don't know if I want them both. I keep seeing pictures of CRT and while it does look gorgeous, the same thing keeps coming to my mind: dd is 3.5 years old. I just don't think she's going to get a lot out of the castle thing. I see the pictures of the inside of the place and I get images of her crawling under the table and refusing to sit and eat....etc...etc... (yes, she's what you might call "high maintenance"). So I just don't know if its worth it. I kind of think she's too young. I know others have said that their 3 and 4 year olds really loved the castle, but maybe it depends on the child?? My dd is behaviorally challenged. she's not horrible, I just don't see her sitting at this nice table taking in all the beauties of the castle. KMIM??
Okay, here's a dumb question...is Cinderella always at CRT? Im assuming yes, but they don't exactly say that on the website so I am making sure. DD likes Ariel and Sleeping Beauty best so I am thinking Norway will more than do the trick. What do you all think?

We went to CRT and Norway and we did not have Ariel at either breakfast.

We did both 2 weeks ago and I was really disappointed (as so was dd) b/c Ariel was not at Norway and she was the last time we went and we have never seen her at CRT. So we only saw Ariel in her Grotto. Yes Cinderella is always at CRT, that's "her" castle....LOL:lmao:
My dd is very hyper energy child but I bring things to keep her occupied while sitting at the table and she does well. We also always do both, CRT and Norway on all our trips, so if you can do both!

Cinderella is not at CRT for dinner - I believe she is at 1900 Park Fare. CRT dinner is just the mice and fairy godmother. Cinderella is at breakfast though.

Ariel is at Akershus for lunch and dinner in her wedding dress.

Like Disney says, none of this is guaranteed but usually how it works out.

We are taking our 2.5 year old DD to the Norway lunch because we've heard that most of the princesses are there (except Cindy) most of the time. Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Ariel (in a dress, no fins ;) )We are going to save CRT for when she is older and more aware of what we're doing and where we're going. There is a pretty significant cost difference too. For their ages, I'd go Norway. Then wow your DD later! :goodvibes

She is there for dinner, just downstair for pics as she does for BF. She doesn't come into the dining room, but i didn't think she did that at BF either? Just stayed in the lobby

We eat at Norway every time we go. We have seem Ariel there every time.. either walking around or as the special gretter princess. Also.. Cindy has been there each time even tho they say she will not be. We have not done breakfast.. but we have done lunch and dinner. We just ate there last month and we saw Ariel, Belle, Cindy, Jasmine, and Aurora.

Personally- with the situation you described I would just do Norway and save the castle for another day when she is a little older. Sounds like she might nmot "get" the castle. You won't be guaranteed to see Ariel in Norway- but we have seen her the past three times we have been there.

Belle was the featured princess in Norway in March. No Ariel. We did enjoy our breakfast too which was a bonus! Very tasty.

From my experience and what I understand, your best chance of seeing both Ariel and Aurora at a princess meal is at Norway for Lunch. We had Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Aurora and Jasmine when we went to lunch.

Here's another thought for the OP... wait times! We went the CRT in Jan 07 and waited (I swear) for about an hour just to get seated and we had ADRs. I am not sure what the wait is like at Norway, but I would definitely take that into consideration. I know it takes extra time with the greeting and pic, but my kids were getting antsy and they are (for the most part) pretty well behaved children.

We are having the same dilemma. My kids want to see Cinderella, but we have done the castle before and Norway is only 1 TS credit.

Good luck in whatever you decide.. Only you know what your little girl can handle.

I recommend Norway for your situation. There's no guarantee of any princess at either place - we had both Ariel and Sleeping Beauty for breakfast in Feb. The atmosphere in Norway is lovely - and you'll get to meet 5 princesses.

Sleeping Beauty and Ariel are my DD5's favorites too! Look for Sleeping Beauty in France in Epcot - ask a CM that day.

We have not yet been to CRT (going in sept :) ) but we have been to Akershus in Norway. We really liked the atmosphere, and all the princesses were there. My DD4 is a HUGE Ariel fan and was so happy to see her. We went for Lunch and we got to meet all the Princesses that day, including Cinderella! I don't know if you are on the DDP or not, but if so, CRT is 2 credits while Akershus in only 1 :thumbsup2

We found the dining experience nice, however didn't really care for the food. Maybe it was just us, but it was a bit strange! Maybe we're just not from Norway :rotfl: I do remember my kiddos not wanting to eat what they got and they usually are not picky eaters! Then again, maybe it was just us! Goos luck! :goodvibes

We reserved lunch at Akershus just in the hopes of seeing Ariel in her gown! I have no desire to eat the food there (does not appeal to me), but am going just hoping to see Ariel as a human.

We went to the breakfast in Norway last Sept. and did not see Ariel. The princesses there were Aurora, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine and Snow White. Ariel would have been nice though!

Ariel appears regularly at PSB lunch and dinner. She is usually not at breakfast.

I have never heard of anyone seeing Ariel at CRT.

If you want a good chance at seeing Ariel, then have either lunch or dinner at PSB. :thumbsup2

We saw her twice at lunch at PSB. :thumbsup2

Someone mentioned that Cinderella is not at the castle for dinner - is that true? I just booked ADR for CRT and want to make sure that she will be there. The CM said that she was there for a meet and greet/picture and that the mice and fairy godmother would be in the dining area. I just want to make sure that I got all my information correct.

Thanks!

The CM is correct. Cinderella is downstairs for a meet and greet at all 3 meals.

For dinner the Fairy Godmother and the 2 female mice appear for a ceremony at some point during your meal.

Thank you - do they go around to the tables after the ceremony?
