Princess & Pirate party

Does anybody know if you need a ticket for the princess & pirate party?
If so were do you get the tickets & is there a cost to attend the party ?
Can you tell me if its fun or are we wasting time going to these parties. Our kids are 3 & 4 .

it is a sperate admission and I think it is around $40. I am going on january 26th and cannot wait.
they mail your tickets to you.
I am sure it is fun for a young kid but I don't have any so I could not tell you.

yes you do need to buy tickets. If you plan to have a down day and enjoy the party at night they may enjoy it. They can also dress up as a pirate or princess.

I have to get 3 peoples pirate accessories this weekend and then the younger girl is going as a princess. The older ones in my group are pirates.
I knew it was close to that. i paid $29 when they first went on sale.

ouch!! That's what I get for waiting so long to buy tickets. As of right now most in our group will be pirates. We have 2 girls turning 18 during our trip who want to be princesses but don't know what they will wear besides a crown on their heads.

I think any amount will be worth it. I have 2 girls 11 and 9 who are going to BBB at 4:20 that day to be made up as princesses. they don't know yet, nor about the party so it is all a big surprise.

We (dh ane me) went last year and had fun. We mostly did the treasure hunt and not the rides. This year we are going in Feb and we will do the rides and shows too. Can't wait.

The savings was around $10 for the tickets, i think the adults price was around $35. But they had to be purchased by Dec 15th. Alot of people don't decide til they get down if they plan on going to the party or not.

Sorry, a little O/T here, but a quick question! I live in the UK and IF Disney announce that there will be P&PP in April I'd like to try and book two adult tickets. I've read above that Disney mail them to you, but what would happen with mine? I wonder if I contacted them by phone and not over the internet, then they'd hold them there for me? Or would they still send them out? Any advice would be appriciated!

I guess I should have said I ordered them online either on Christmas or the next day. It said I should have them in my hand by Jan 6.

I think I read that they have dates for March, April and May now. If you order them online then you can pick them up at Will Call or there were 3 different mailing options.

I just tried to check out tickets at Disney online and only found tickets through March. I know the new dates were released. Does anyone know how I can find them and purchase tickets?

WOW - I really missed the boat. I tried to get tickets this week but Disney said they are $47.81 per ticket. That's more than I want to spend so now I'm not going. Disney said they only discounts available are AP and DVC. Sorry I missed the December 15 cut off.

i received my tickets in less then 1 week, and i am in Canada.It was sent by purolator and i had to sign for it so i don;t think they could get stuck in junk mail. We ordered them by phone on the last day before the price increase.

I do agree that i probably would have skipped the party if we had to pay full price for the entire party.

It took about 2 weeks for ours to arrive.

Are any of you dressing up, or just your kids? DH and I would kinda like to, but don't know if it would be more of a hassel to keep up with hats or other accessories. I thought about ordering matching hoodies with a line from the movie printed on the back. Just wondering what your plans were.
