Princess/Pirate Party 2007????

I have done some searching and have found one thing stating that there may be a hard ticket event from January thru March regarding Pirates and Princesses. Does anybody know anything more than that, we are visiting early March and it sounds fantastic but am wondering if it is little more than a rumour.

20 June 2006: Disney's Pirate and Princess Party 2007

To update the 11 March 2006 update below on the Magic Kingdom's new "Disney's Pirate and Princess Party 2007" . It is expected an official announcement will come regarding this in the next few weeks. Currently, plans include a treasure hunt with treasure bag, Pirate Adventure Coves and Princess Royal Courts throughout the park, a special parade and special edition of Wishes, lots of characters and walk around streetmosphere, and themed classes, such as "Learn to be a Princess" and "Learn to be a Pirate".

The hard ticket events are likely to run from around 7:30pm to 12:30 am, from late January through to March. Ticket prices are expected to be in line with Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and are set to be on sale in July.

Remember this isn't officially confirmed yet, and tickets are not yet available. Official confirmation will appear here as soon as it's released.

To kick-off the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie in conjunction with Magic Kingdom's updated features in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, there are some thunderous waves rollin' in at the Walt Disney World Resort for all you Buccaneers!

For 13 select nights from January 22nd through March 8th, you can embark on a quest for beads and chocolate treasures as you are immersed in a world of pirates and princesses during the all-new “Pirate & Princess Party” at the Magic Kingdom ® Park.

Dress as your favorite pirate or princess, and have fun enjoying a special parade and fireworks, experience pirate coves and princess courts filled with treasure and specially-themed entertainment. Plus, enjoy Character meet and greets and some of the most popular Magic Kingdom Park attractions.

Tickets go on sale July 10th and cost $42.95 plus tax (ages 10 and up), $32.95 plus tax (ages 3 to 9). Advance ticket prices are available for all 13 nights. The advance purchase price is $39.36 ages 10 and above, and $31.90 ages 3-9 - tax included. This special event is from 7:30 PM until 12:30 AM.
