Princess pavilion help?

I've just been reading that you now have to queue and book for a time to go into the princess pavilion, no doubt there's been a huge thread on here and I've missed it!
How does it work, where do you book please? And is it the same for the disabled? Thanks in advance!

You go to the old mill next to the pavillion , its only there at certain times, 10.30, 11.45 and 1.45. It gets very busy so you need to be there way before these times as not everyone queing got a ticket.

It is a stupid system as loads of people were waiting ages then being told there were no tickets left. There were several upset people complaining they had been there at every slot but not managed to get to see the princess's. Im sure people would rather que in the pavilion for 1.5 hours than que for 1.5 for a ticket then que again during your slot or not getting a slot at all.

There used to be a fourth hand out time later in the afternoon, has this been discontinued?

Yes, it is the same if you have a disability pass. You need to go to the exit of the actual line.

How they've handled the ticket hand out there has changed frequently in the last months, so I can't really advise what the current procedure is. Usually they take your name on a list and write the pass number down. Sometimes they tell you to leave, sometimes they insist you stay in line and won't even let you sit down.

Yes, it went at the end of the summer season. In fact I'm sure in that first week after, it went back to the old system of just queuing in the Pavilion but it seems to be back again with fewer handouts and I'm guessing shorter opening times.

My DH got in the queue half an hour before each handout and got tickets every time in August.

You get entry to the PP for each park ticket you show (you receive an admission ticket with the half hour slot and number of people it's valid for stamped on it) but only one person has to queue at the Old Mill as long as they have all the park tickets.

Still a case of 'could do better' IMO.

Thank you. I haven't looked at that schedule way too long. The last one I saw even said check the sign at the area for hand out times.

we struggle to queue with our son as he can get 'screamy' (I've been abused in morrisons at the checkouts before now!) but can't actually do anything if one parent queues as he needs someone to lift him on rides, and sit with him, and someone to sit with smallest child. Ah well, will have a look when we're there :/

They still did this last week wrote down your pass number but then you had to wait to the side.
