For my princess-obsessed daughter we'll make sure to:

- have lunch @ Ariel's Grotto (already booked!)
- go to the Princess Faire
- visit Ariel in King triton's garden
- stop by Aladdin & Jasmine's storytime

Is there anything I'm missing, esp. involving Cinderella and Belle, her favourites? I thought I read something about seeing princesses around the Sleeping Beauty Castle?

Any princesses at the character meals at Goofy's Kitchen?

Thanks in advance from a newbie. I've been reading threads for the last week, it's been so helpful.

I haven't seen princesses around the park, but I would check with city hall, and you can find out what time the fairy godmother will be out! We saw her at the castle. I've heard she is sometimes at Ariel's lunch/dinner, but if not, it's something neat for the kids!

Looks like you've got just about everything covered. The only other things I would suggest is seeing the Snow White Exhibit at the Animation Studio in DCA and Snow White, Dopey and the Evil Witch / Old Hag appear outside for meet & greets throughout the day.

Also, consider seeing Drawn to the Magic show in the Hollywood Backlot of DCA (across from Monsters, Inc.). This show always features one princess, one hero (Hercules or Woody) and Mickey Mouse. After the show they let you line up for meet & greets. It's a great way to knock 3 characters out at once.

You won't see princesses around the castle anymore. They are now all held captive at PFFT.

They also usually (always? whenever I've seen it) dance in the parade every day.

In DCA, there is a character picture area to the left before you get to the Aladdin theater. There may find princesses there that you didn't see at the Fantasy Faire. At Fantasy Faire there are 3 picture spots, so 3 princesses are out at a time.

We saw Cinderella and Snow White at Goofy's Kitchen last week.

I jsut came back with my princess obsessed four year old. We caught the princess cornoation ceremony three different times, and she loved it, cuz each time there are different princesses. If you are doign Ariel's Grotto, then don't waste yoru time standing in the huge line up at PFF to meet the princesses. And the storytelling was super cool to my daughter, and it was nice cuz you didn't need to stand in line forever or anythign, it was a nice bit of down time. I am not sure if they storytellers change throughout the day, or if it is the same princess all day.

DD is currently "must meet Belle or the world will fall apart" stage. Has anyone ever booked a 2nd Princess Lunch for just in case? Or are my chances pretty good between that and PFF???

If you do drawn to the Magic, encourage your daughter to volunteer. My daughter received the drawing of Cinderella after the show. We are going to frame it as art for her bedroom.

My dd did the same and got the drawing of Snow White, which she autographed after the show. :lovestruc

I would hit the once apon a princess shope, BUT only if you are willing ot spend the bucks. haha We took DD in there and gave her money to buy something, once she was over she was done shopping in there.

DD's must see was Belle too, the last time we went in Nov last year. We went to Ariel's Grotto for lunch and they told us right before we went in that Belle, and Princess Minnie were there...BUT as soon as the princess gang showed up NO Belle or Minnie.. Georgia was soooo upset. Then we couldn't find either the rest of our four day trip!

With PFF, you are never EVER guaranteed to see any exact princess. It's torture, IMO, for a kid so focused on one princess. If you're going to do PFF, I would do so after Ariel's, to make sure she has already met Belle (I thought that all the princesses show up at those meals?) before the take-a-chance PFF line.

Just as an example, while we were in line for around an hour (I say an hour, hubby gives a bad face and says "longer than that...if it was an hour it felt like five") for our son who simply wanted to meet princesses, while waiting we saw Cinderella and Prince Charming *leave* (so sad!), then we heard that Mulan was there, and then she left, and so we saw Belle, Pocahontas, and Princess Minnie. Terrific for DS (well, except for Belle who wanted him to sit on her skirt which weirded him out...he's not allowed to sit on MY clothing, LOL...got the best "just not that into you" photopass picture of him with her :rotfl: ) because he met "princesses" and got extra attention (a solo boy at the PFF!). But for a child focused on one princess, it's really a bad choice, IMO. The princesses you meet change randomly, the princess who tells her story changes, and I hear that the coronation princesses and princes change, too!

Thanks to all for the great information! :thumbsup2

DH will be sooo happy that there is a variety of opportunities to meet the princesses! :rolleyes1 Well, maybe not  but I sure know that DD6 will be delighted! :cloud9: princess:

Yeah, don't forget to see the Aladdin Show at DCA. Watching him fly on the magic carpet with Jasmine over the auditorium is a dream for a little princess fan! My four year old loves it.

.

We saw Woody, Cinderella, and Socerer Mickey all in one shot at this show.
