Princess Merida?

We're heading to Disneyland in 1 week and 1 day (YAY!! ) and my DN is super into Princess Merida. I've been checking the app sporadically and haven't seen her on there. Has anyone been recently and happen to know if she's ever out and about?

I have never seen her out and about. The only time I ever saw her at DLR was during Halloween party. If she is not meeting with other princesses, then this encounter is very unlikely.

She was rotating in the PFF courtyard with Rapunzel but it seems like Jasmine is meeting there now instead of Aladdin's Oasis. You can ask to see if there's a chance that she's inside on any given day, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for any specific princess.

When I was there in February, Merida was roaming Fantasyland on the busier days, but didn't show up on the app. She correctly identified my 2-year-old nephew as a troublemaker.

I've seen her frequently outside by Princess Fantasy Faire - not in with the other princesses, but at the meeting spot just outside of it. The last time I saw her there was our November trip, but we also saw her there last July.

I saw her roaming just outside Red Rose Taverne in March.

Saw her roaming around Fantasy land in March and doing a meet and greet behind Dumbo (sadly by the time we got through the line and off the ride she was off wandering again!)

I have seen her in the entrance plaza in the last month or so? Early afternoon on weekends. Jasmine has also been out there.

We see her frequently (last Wednesday was the most recent, but we've run into her many times during the past few months since she stopped her Fantasy Faire courtyard meets). She isn't doing traditional meet and greets when we see her lately, though. The last three times we've seen her, she was leading a game of Simon Says right by the Sleeping Beauty walk through exit, leading a storytime with Peter Pan and Captain Hook right by the Pinocchio ride, and leading a game of Duck-Duck-Goose right by the Fantasyland King/Queen bathrooms.

If she's not on the app, I'd try asking the cast members working characters in the Fantasy Faire area - I feel like they're the most likely to know when and where she might appear, or they could direct you to someone who might know.

I do feel like we may mostly be seeing her on days that are predicted to be higher capacity, so she may be off entirely next week. I hope for your sake that she's around!

I saw her recently in the Fantasy Faire courtyard as well. She was talking with a little girl and no one else was around her. I regret not stopping to wait my turn- she's one of my favorites as well.
