Princess meet timing

We're newbies that just recently booked our an April cruise too and funnily, it's the pirate makeovers that have lots of openings and the princess ones that we can't get. Go figure. I don't think any two cruises are the same. But we are flexible: we will enjoy what we are able to get and roll with it. I looked at some sample cruise navigators and it seems that even if the "reserved" princess meet and greet is all booked up, their are individual princesses that have meets at various times throughout the cruise that you can just walk up to and wait in line for.

I would call Disney, explain the situation and see if they can tell you if there are any other times available that would work better. If there are better times, they MIGHT be able to switch it around for you. I would make sure that they understand that THEY switched things around and the switch may not work for you. I think if they know it is their changing things around, they may be more willing to correct it for you on the phone. I had to call them because I had booked 2 different port excursions for the exact same time, the system isn't suppose to let you do this, but it did. It then wouldn't let me cancel one of them. I called Disney, explained it to them. The first cm I talked to connected me to someone else who was able to fix it. Good luck.

Yes, in my experience there are other individual meet and greets for the princesses. You might even meet one in the passageway sometime.:)

Yes. The only ones that don't have separate meet and greets are Anna and Elsa. The others pretty much all have a time on the cruise.

DCL calls it a Frozen Gathering. In fact, in the email they sent out, they called it "Meet the Stars of Disney's Frozen." Is it always just Anna and Elsa, or do they ever have other characters like Kristoff and/or Olaf?

My wife remembers one time we had three of the Frozen characters. Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Other times it was just Anna and Elsa

Fantasy and Dream is always just Anna and Elsa (or even just one of the two if any unforeseen circumstance) and Wonder/Magic is usually Anna, Elsa and Olaf.

As to seperate meets of the princesses, two weeks ago on the Fantasy Ariel was never scheduled a seperate meet besides princess gathering. She did do some strolls on the very last evening though. Whilst Cinderella and Tiana were out pretty much every day and Belle several times (2 times in her blue dress and I think twice in her yellow dress)
