Hi there! This will be my first RunDisney event. I signed my sister and our friend up for the 5k. Anyway, I saw the link to buy merch ahead of time. It's probably a silly question but does the stuff sell out??

Without a doubt, items available at the Expo will sell out. In the past, some of the high desired items would sell out within the hour to a few hours of the first day of the expo opening. Not all merch is available for pre-purchase, but as you saw on your registration, there are a few items. No one can be certain whether the items available for pre-purchase will sell out at the expo or not. My wife whom works in retail and with similar vendors as runDisney says that the logistics of merchandise delivery is really strained right now. So when the previews come out of Expo merchandise (usually a few weeks/days in advance), if you see something you like, be prepared to go early. If something in the pre-purchase is of high interest right now to you (trip isn't worth it, without it type feeling), then buy it now in the event it sells quickly at the expo itself.

Very very true.

If you want something from the prepurchase stuff, buy it because they aren't always available to buy at the expo. If you hate it, there's always a market to resell it!
