Princess Half Marathon MK or Epcot Resorts?

Stayed at POR this year with my sister and a friend for the race. The drive was not bad at all, however, we left the hotel by 3:15am. It took about 15 minutes to drive to Epcot, and we even parked ten spots away from the entrance! This year I am running by myself, and my DH will be a spectator. He wants to see me at MK and the finish line. I figured I would drive again, and he could take the monorail. I am trying to figure out which set of resorts would be better for us based on ease of transportation during a race weekend. Anyone have experience with either sets of these resorts during a race?

Can't really speak to the transportation getting to the MK, but we always stay at BC or BW and it's great to be able to go out in the am and cheer on the runners. Being at an Epcot resort won't however make much difference in the ride time to the race. By the time you get out of the resort area, it's also about a 10-15 minute ride.

If you post this question in the events/competition area on the wish boards you might get a few more answers since many of those posters have done multiple races and are always helpful.

I stayed at BLT a few years ago and I loved it. It was easy to hop on the monorail. I traveled with my sister and daughter but didn't ask them to wake early to see my run. However if you do stay at the monorail resort your DH can see you go past the resort and then hop on the monorail to go to the finish line. Just be aware that the lines to get to epcot on the monorail get very very long since everyone is trying to do the same thing
