Don't ever join the Disney Movie Club or any Movie Club, they always the most expensive. After the first batch of movies you get for cheap when you sign up, you always pay full price for the new ones... plus shipping!!
Not a good deal.

Actually, the DMC can be a good deal. I agree about other movie clubs, but the Disney one is different, especially after you become a VIP member. They can have really great deals and they have movies you can't find anywhere else, at least you ones you can't find here.

Seems like every new dvd/blu-ray release Disney come up with a online coupon. Plus, Target, Amazon and many other retailers always have them on sale when they come out. I have never paying more then $20 for the deluxe set since forever.

The Princess and the Frog Deluxe Blu-ray will be released on Tuesday, March 16th. Target will have it for $26.99 and it will come with an exclusive Princess Tiana purse.

There will be a coupon to save $10 off the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack (valid 3/16 to 3/21) here. (The coupon will probably appear on Friday.)

There are 2 mail in rebates for this movie. Each rebate allows for photocopies of the Princess and The Frog receipt and it requests a proof of purchase tab. The movie will have 2. They also do not require you the purchase the item(s) and the movie on the same receipt. Because of this, you can submit both rebates!

■Buy 2 boxes of Band-Aids and The Princess and The Frog on Blu-Ray or DVD and get a $5 rebate by mail. You can download the form here. It expires June 30th. (Thanks Bargain Divas!)

Yes, it is only for in stores. If you want a deal online then you are better off ordering it through TDS online and get a free something or other with it.

My husband just tried to use the old dogs coupon at walmart and was told no. No reasoning, just that they won't allow the coupon. And this was coming from the manager! I've used the bluray coupons there before without a problem. I don't know what the problem seems to be this time. Guess we'll be going to target or best buy tomorrow to get it instead of walmart. Looks like we'll probably have to do the same thing with princess and the frog. Just very frustrating!

I only bought the 3 I had to buy, so really it wasn't too bad and all 3 times I got free shipping. My deal was getting like 7 movies for a penny each and then buy 4, but one was 14.99. In the end it wasn't so bad. You have 2 years and they often have buy one get one half off deals. In the end it worked out. I was missing a whole bunch of movies. I am mad now there is blu-ray though

I have used the $10 coupons before at Walmart. In fact, just used a $10 coupon for PONYO recently. Can you try at another Walmart? Sometimes it all depends on on the clerk or manager.

What? Why would they just give the sale to Target or one of the other stores? That makes no sense! My plan was to use my Princess and The Frog coupons there but I'll go elsewhere in a heartbeat. Best Buy and Target are both right across the street so no biggy for me.

eta: You know thinking about it that will lose them a heck of a LOT of sales. Princess and the Frog next week, the Toy Story movies the next, that's a lot of cash they're throwing to the competitors. No doubt this is someone trying to be authoritative and screwing things up royally.

Make sure you have the coupon program installed - had a devil of a time trying to get the coupon today. It finally worked when I switched browsers (firefox to IE) and allowed the ActiveX control to work.

I agree, I have been very happy with the club. I usually do not get the monthly pick, but they have other DVDs on there as well and some great deals. I was able to get the old TV show Dinosaurs and my DD6 loves it. The benefits are great for some people, so just determine if it is for you or not. If you are still building a collection for your kids and want some older movies then it could be a great fit for you.

same here - we don't get the monthly pick but they have good prices on older movies. We've been members of this club for years.

For those of you doing the Band-aid rebate, there is a $1/1 coupon in the Red Plum insert in today's paper as well so combining with the Target coupons=cheap, or free, or money making band-aids!!
