I just realized that I never posted information about my 5 yo dd becoming "Princess for the Day" during our December trip. While touring Fantasyland one morning, dd decided that she wanted a picture of just her pulling the sword from the stone (her older brothers are with her in all of our other pictures -- but this was a "girls only" morning). Another family was hogging the stone, refusing to let us get our picture made. However, dd stubbornly stated that she didn't mind waiting and indeed stood very patiently off to the side watching the other family acting foolishly rude. Little did we know that a dream team was nearby. (I suspect the Rude Family had noticed them, and that's why they were lingering.) As soon as dd got "into position" (If you've ever taken a picture here, you know what I mean.) and gave a huge, dramatic tug on the sword...out it came (or at least it rose several inches). A pair of Dream Team members came bounding up, making a big deal out of dd becoming "Princess of the Day." Dd was a little overwhelmed by the attention at the moment, but she told EVERYONE she encountered throughout the day about her experience and showed them her official certificate. What a magical experience for a little one! pixiedust:

What a wonderful experience for your little girl. And by the way, we've also encountered a few of those rude people ourselves.

Thats awesome!! hopefully everyone will take this into consideration, ESPECIALLY the "rude folk", maybe they'll see that a lil sharing and patience is worth it, and may perhaps be rewarded for it!
