How long before it starts should we wait? and how long does it last? I am trying to plan our days and this is some info I dont have.

Thanks!

Princess Fantasy Faire is an all day long activity. It starts at 9 and goes to 6 according to last weekend's entertainment times guide. They have a royal coronation ceremony at 10:10, 11:15, 12:20, 2:15, 4:15, and 5:15. Princess storytelling was at 10:40, 11:50, 12:50, 1:50, 2:40, 3:00, 3:50, and 4:45. You can decorate crowns and color anytime from 9-6, and if you want to, you can wait in line to see a princess, but the lines are usually VERY long, so if you really want to see a princess, I would make reservations at Ariel's Grotto for lunch or dinner, and see them at your table.

Thank you for posting those times! Makes it much easier to plan.

Thanks for the great info, I've been wondering about this myself

Great!! Thank you for posting the times. I know that dd is going to want to see the Princess crew again after seeing them at Ariels Grotto (we are having lunch there wednesday, and heading to DL Thursday) So maybe we will let her see one. How do you tell her no?? haha

So, if it opens at 9:00am, let's say you get in line outside of the attraction before it opens, and you're the first family in line.

Would it be safe to assume that you could go straight to the line to visit with the princesses when the attraction opens at 9:00am, and have no waiting?

Would this be the best strategy to minimize any waiting in line to see the princesses at PFF?

Has anyone done this?

I ask because when we're in the parks next month, DL opens at 9:00am but the calendar says PFF opens at 9:30am. So, if we're there at the rope drop, and I go straight to the PFF door, I could wait for a half-hour while the family does a ride, then they could join me in the PFF line. At most, I'm waiting a half-hour and DW and DDs are waiting even less to visit with the princesses.

For the story telling, Last time we were there they did it in the Princess Shoppe and it was only a few times and a different princess each time. Do they do the story telling together now?

There are no more storytimes in the Princess Shop by the Castle. They all take place at PFFT now. The story times are told by different princesses. I have heard the CM's won't give you a schedule of who is performing at what time, though. So you get who you get.

I knew they changed the place, just didnt know how it was worked. What a bummer you dont know. That isn't going to help my kid. I can see a meltdown in the making if she wants one Princess and gets a different

We went on Sept 25th. Park opened at 10am and it was an EE day, PFF opened at 10:30am. We hit EE, and at about 10:05am I headed to PFF. There is a rope at the top of a slight hill before you acutally enter the PFF area. I was first in line. Family joined me at 10:20am. By this time there were probably 10-15 families who had also joined me.

At 10:30am a cast member removed the rope and escorted the whole line through the queue to meet the princesses and we headed in first to meet Cinderella, Snow White and Jasmine. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

We also did lunch at Ariel's Grotto and, I know I am in the minority, but I hated it! I felt like it was sooooo chaotic! My nieces age 9 and 7 were fine, but my kids ages 3 and 11 months were just too antsy, distracted, and tired to make the lunch very enjoyable. It drags on for well over an hour. Plus the cost was outrageous! In reality, the princesses spent about the same amount of time with us as we got at PFF. (Of course, this could be a reflection to the 11 month old screaming and the 3 year old late for a nap tantrum going on at my table! :rolleyes1 )

If your kids are older, you would probably have better luck than we did at Ariel's Grotto. Otherwise, I would would not hesitate to wait another 25 minutes to meet 3 princesses at PFF first thing in the morning when the kids are fresh and excited!

HTH!

Meet anybody there Monday with my "Briar Rose" wanna be! I planned on doing this first thing after PP.

Thank you, counselor. That does help. We are doing dinner at AG, so if we visit PFF, we will use your advice and be there for its rope drop.

Where in Kansas? I was born and raised in Salina and dh is from Wichita originally and than moved to Salina.

oh the pretty part of Kansas! Have fun at DL! My dh, grandson, granddaughter and myself will be there 12/3-12/6! Can't wait!

HTH!

This is a great idea. We have EE for Thursday (Thanksgiving YAY!) I will plan to be at PFF right when the park opens, and have Dh get food or something while I wait there. I can do that.

What is it like after you meet the Princess crew?

if any one is going to be there on Thanksgiving and wants to join us! we will be there in line. hehe
