I know that they have discontinued the coronation ceremony and storytelling :sad1: , but do they still have the tables where kids can color and do the sticker crowns? That was kind of a nice place to relax and take a break, and was fun for little kids. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's one of the "non-revenue-generating" things that they discontinued.

Horrid decision.

Didn't you have a design made up at some point, danger?

What's interesting is that we've actually seen the princesses a'wandering a few times. In front of the train station is a common place for them...I think around 1pm or so...

Yes, I've seen photos of various princesses wandering near the Mickey flower bed, so that's a good start. I would love to see them back in their true and natural environment which is surrounding the Castle. Catching Snow White near her wishing well is just pure Disney magic. And storytime should definitely return somewhere, if not at PFFT then back in the Once Upon A Time Princess Shoppe.

This past July my two DD's, 5 and 6, were using the restroom located just behind the bank at the end of main street. There is also a CM gate there, and just as we were coming out a CM told me to wait there for a moment and we would see Cinderella. I was shocked as I thought the princesses were only seen at the Fantasy Faire. So we waited less than a minute and Cinderella came out. My girls were thrilled and we have a great photo of them in front of the bathroom! :rotfl:

I absolutely miss finding the princesses at the castle. We've, in the words of my husband, stalked more than one princess from her entrance by a CM gate to the front of the castle. It was magical for my girls to walk with them.

I am taking a trip to DLR with my 4 year old neice who has never been to DL. She wants to see princesses, but we're doing a one day/one park visit only. No chance for a lunch in DCA. I already warned my sister that the line for princesses is long and annoying.

Maybe if we just hang out by the restroom (BTW, the only one in the park with handled toilets!) we'll see one! :rotfl2:

Not gonna happen, since they're turning that shop into a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I think that shop was way too small for storytime anyway...perhaps princess storytelling would work in that little courtyard-like area in between Dumbo and Casey Jr.? I don't know, maybe that will create too much walkway congestion too...

But I agree, FREE THE PRINCESSES! I miss the magic of them being more free roaming. Put something more worthwhile back on that stage. Like, gee, I dunno...maybe an actual THEATRICAL PRESENTATION or something. What a concept! :thumbsup2

Per a CM yesterday PFF is done. Only thing there now is the meet and greets. Hair, make-up, and all is done. OH also after a long convo with a CM beloved Capt Jack is now gone as well. I got some good info on why that happend.
