Princess Event Ideas for lunch time?

We want to do a Grandma/Mom/dd4/dd2 princess event at lunch time. We're planning on doing PSB as a breakfast with whole family. I just can't bring myself to pay for the Perfectly Princess Tea Party. I might be willing to pay for it...but my mother would die if she knew how much I paid and just wouldn't enjoy it or let me live down. Any other princess ideas that we could all be involved in?

How about Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch? I know it is hard to get reservations, but I think that may be a more affordable option. My sister and I took DD4 to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party and it was wonderful- but I noticed you want to include a 2yo, and it might be a little long for her. If you can wait for an early dinner 1900 Park Fare at the GF has a Cinderella dinner. We went to the Mary Poppins breakfast there and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I second the Royal Table for lunch. It's a character meal, with all the princess. Similar to PSB, but in the castle...with Cinderella in the lobby for pictures. I was expecting to hard a hard time getting ADR's, but got seating for breakfast on two different days (I have to decide which one to cancel), so if you call right at 7 on your 180 day mark, you should have no problems!!!!

We did the Princess Tea Party as well and it was well worrth the money, but I agree that it might be long for a two year old. Have you thought about the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian?

We did CRT for breakfast in March. I was thinking about an afternoon tea, but wasn't sure how that worked. How does it work?

I made a reservation for my DD for the Wonderland Tea Party at GF. I think it runs mon-fri at 1:30. It is way cheaper than the princess party and I think she will really enjoy it. I think it was about $40 (?) compared to about $200 for the princess one!

You make reservations the same way as any ADR. It is just a really fancy tea with some appetizer type things. You can just dress up and drink your tea together. There are no characters or shows at the tea. The Wonderland Tea Party is tons of fun. It is for children only though. You and your mom will npt be able to attend. HOWEVER, you and your mom could book a spa treatments like a massage or pedicure during that time. The Wonderland tea party is two hours and they are both at the Grand Floridian. Your daughter will love the interaction with Alice and the Mad Hatter and you and your mom can have some mother daughter time for the two of you.

My girls have done both tea parties. They did the Wonderland Tea Party when they were 4 and 6. They loved it. It's very kid oriented (it's kids only) and very fun -- games, cupcakes, etc! Then, all 3 of us did the Perfectly Princess Tea Party last trip (They were 7 and 5). This was tons of fun, too, but also tons more money But, the nice part was I got to be there, too. It is more for dressing up and a fancy girly-girl time together. They got Disney girl dolls to keep, Sleeping Beauty stops by for a visit and entertainment is provided by her friend Rose Bud who does story telling and sings songs. It's a great event, but 2 might be a bit young for it. 2 is also too young for the Wonderland Party (not allowed under 4 I beleive, as the parents don't stay).

I think Cinderella's Royal table for lunch one afternoon for the 4 ladies would be perfect. Save the Perfectly Princess Tea Party for another trip, with you and your girls when the 2 year old is a bit bigger.

Have sooo much fun! Hope it's a magical trip!
