Oh crackers. We're scheduled for Epcot that day, with a Frozen Ever After fastpass at that time. kiddo loves the new show, although We are also confused at why the Sofia episode with her wasn't aired first.

Back in April, there were several press releases about there being a meet n greet at WDW with Elena "this summer". Now that the Elena show is out, has anyone heard when she is making her debut? My girls are not-so-patiently hoping she is there for our trip in two weeks!

I hope she has a presence in the park by the time we go - I am an unashamed Sofia fan (my daughter - who has seen every episode countless times - has left the room before and I've been known to finish the episode on my own lol!), so a potential Elena M&G is fun to think about.

My daughter decided she wants to be Elena for Halloween before ever seeing an episode! I wish she had been cast and meeting when we were there a few weeks ago.

As the mom of an 8yr old DD who has basically outgrown Sofia... yup, just rearranged our Feb MK days to try to hopefully get FPs for this... we rope-dropped A&E two years ago when I couldn't get FP, so worst case, we'll watch the sunrise on our way to MK again She watched the first two episodes yesterday and is hooked!

Well, it's August and the tv show has premiered, so I'm wondering if there has been any further word or rumors about this potential new princess M&G? Thank you in advance for any further insight.

Parks blog said she makes her debut in parks on 8/11 no word yet if it will be a M&G, a roll in move it shake it, or just an induction ceremony into the princess line up

We are also excited about this. Our DD(4) loves this show! I am not going to tell her she may see her just in case there is no M&G. I would love it if people would post where they see/find her in the next few weeks. We are heading there mid-Sept.

not sure if you have a Disney Store near you but her merchandise is already out. And I've seen lots of kids wearing her dress

The HUB just posted about her royal welcome. No times yet but they do have the following Q&A
Will Elena be greeting Guests at Magic Kingdom Park?
Princess Elena will appear exclusively during the royal welcome celebration presented on Cinderella Forecourt Stage several times daily. Keep watching the Disney Parks Blog for more information about future appearances.

Why are you presenting Elena at the Castle stage instead of in a greeting opportunity?
We wanted to present Elena in this way so as many of our Guests as possible would have the opportunity to see her.

I know that they are auditioning for her this week, no mention that she needs to sing or play the guitar so that indicates a regular meet and greet character for the future

Here's the Royal Friendship Faire schedule to give an idea of when Elena may be onstage a few minutes before each show especially with the 1st "Celebration" scheduled for 10:20 on August 11th:

Time Change for the August 11th event: Elena's Royal Welcome Now Scheduled for 10:45!

I went to the link above and the time has been changed to 10:45 and a Livestream will begin at that time!

Perhaps the 10:20 timing is for the 1st Celebration that will occur on the 12th to coordinate with Royal Friendship Faire.

That's too bad they won't have her out for guests to meet. Disney has traditionally had the latest characters out for photos with guests. They should have left Tiana in Liberty Square and added Elena to Fairytale Hall.
