Can anyone tell me how much the Princess Dresses are that you buy in Disney? My DGD princess: is 7 and I would love to get her one when we are down there in September. This is a tight budget trip so trying to figure in all the costs before I go. Would rather not put anything on my credit card.
Can you get them at the Disney store? We don't have one in London but not sure it you can get them shipped to you.

Thanks and have a great Dis day. :cheer2:

I know it won't help with this trip, but I always get the dresses just after Halloween when they are on sale, I get 2 for each of my girls and they are 75% off.. I usually get them at Walmart or Toys R us.. you can check to see if they are carried all year round.
Yes the Disney Store does carry them but I find them to be much more in price than the other places for the exact same dress.

I know that the super Wal-Mart in Disney area had them about a year ago. They are not quite as elaborate as the ones you can buy in the parks and in DTD but they are official Disney merchandise and are beautiful. I got Cinderella, Belle,Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, an Ariel dress in a shiny teal fabric with lots of frills and even a nice little Tink dress complete with pastel purple rosettes and fluffy feathery trim. The Cindy, Snow White, Belle and SB are very close to the traditional costume. These were about 20 USD or less, compared to at least double in the parks. They also had accessories but not too many. These were all in the toy section and they had them year round. I would say make WalMart your first stop and check them out, them if you don't like them try the parks etc. I bought so many as I gave them as gifts to my children's friends for birthdays etc. Needless to say, they were a huge hit. They pack easily as well. Good luck! :flower:

We bought our youngest daughter the Cinderella dress in 2000 and the Belle dress in 2002 at DTD. They were $55 U.S. each. Much nicer quality (IMHO) and more elaborate than at the Disney Store or the Walmarts, etc...I kind of stumbled at the price originally, but they turned out to be worth every penny...LOT'S of play value with my princess princess:

Thanks for the input re the dresses. I thought they would be alot more expensive that that. So what if I don't eat for a day!!LOL

Better get it now, while at the park a last month. I saw the Celebration princess dress which were almost $100 US. :earseek:

Definately try and buy something before you get to Disney World. Dresses at the park range from $50US and up. I was just at Walmart (WPG) yesterday and they have Disney princess dress up clothes in their toy aisles. They had Cinderella and Snow White and were $19.99CAD. Plus they have crown and shoes and different accesories. Good luck!!
