I have a question for those who purchase dresses from My Dress Up Trunk. Do you buy the slip to give it more poof or are they scratchy?

Are these dresses just as good or better than the ones at Disney?

It seems like the ones from My Dress Up Trunk are the same as the ones I just ordered from LittleDressUpShop.com. The site and woman I spoke with said that the costumes are made out of soft, not itchy material. Also, they can be washed. If I had seen My Dress Up Trunk first I probably would have ordered from there because the prices seem a little lower. I should get the costumes by Wed and can let you know for sure. My dds love to dress up but do complain about the itchiness of the Disney costumes.

I bought DD a mermaid costume from my dress up trunk. She loved it and wore it almost everyday for a while. They have excellent customer service and we were very pleased with their product and email corresponence. Oh and it was not itchy or she never would have worn it!

I just bought dd a Belle costume with fullness slip from LittleDressUpShop.com (same Little Adventure costumes as My Dress Up Trunk). She does not want to take it off. Doesn't appear scratchy in the least. The fullness slip is made out of a soft toole. I am really glad that I got it or the dress really would have dragged on the ground as dd is so small (2 1/2 and only 34" tall). Hope that helps.

Thank you all! I'm going to bookmark that site and plan to order some dresses soon for my little princess.
