Just an anal mom interested in checking out what's available for my princesses for our upcoming trip! We've bought princess dresses from Ebay, Lillian Vernon, and Wal-Mart. But I've told my girls that they can pick out one new dress this year while at WDW.

If any of you all have photos, please post them so I can see what's available!

Thanks!

I was in BJ's Club a few days ago, and they had a whole bunch of Disney costumes for 29.95. I am not sure if that is a good price or now, as I have never had a child interested in 'princessy' stuff. I have 2 boys, and a tomboy who would never have been caught dead dressing up so "girly'!

The best place to get them is the Tinkerbell store at WDW or right outside Voyage of Little Mermaid at MGM. I did not get my girls any though cause they are really expensive there.

The World of Disney store at DTD has a huge selection, they are, however, pricey. I can't post pics here (don't know how:( ) but I think I still have some pictures that we took of the girls costumes from last year so that our DD's could decide before our Halloween Party visit last year. If I remember correctly, the Cinderella bridal gown was ~$100 without the accessories. Most were at least $40 without accessories. Email or PM me if you are interested in the pics, I'll see if I can find them.

There's a whole section at The World Of Disney at Downtown Disney that is dedicated to princesses. I have never looked at the prices, but I know they have a wall or section devoted to each princess.

You could also try doing Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique, which is in the same place at WOD, and they have a package that includes make-up, hair, and dress. It's expensive, but if your DD's are really into princesses, and you don't mind dishing out some money for it, then it's definitely a magical experience for them.

We bought my daughter this Snow White dress at the shop outside the Voyage of the Little Mermaid attraction at the Studios... It was very expensive, but very good quality. She will wear it for Halloween this year so that's how we justified the cost. With accesories (slippers, hair band/bow, gloves, apple hand bag and Snow White hair brush) it was a little over $100... I know, OUCH!! She had a blast with it though and couldn't get enough of the CM's that would greet her "Good morning your majesty"... or "Oh look it's Snow White!"... There was even one little girl who seriously wanted her autograph. Olivia just looked up at us and gave us this smile like - is she serious??

Does anyone know if the MK shops or WOD have a good selection of Princess costumes in toddler girl sizes? I can't seem to find many here!
:disrocks:

I think I remember toddler sizes. Here is the phone # for World of Disney, they could probably tell you: 407-828-1451

As the other posters have said WOD, TInkerbell's Shop, and the pricess store outside of Voyage of the Little Mermaid will be your best bets. I would like to warn you against buying the Jasmine costume. I bought one for dd on our trip last year and after a few hours of wearing it - it began to fall apart. This has not been our normal experience with these dresses. Also it is now transparent - basically making it indecent to wear outside of the house. All the other dresses we have purchased have held up beautifully and were well worth the price.

To the poster with the Toddler size question - if you go into one of these shops and they do not have your size they will call all the other shops and if they do find the size you are looking for they will put on hold for you.

Thought I got a great deal on E-Bay on a Tinkerbell Dress & the Belle Wedding Dress! Then I saw an even prettier Tink at Walmart about $5.00 cheaper & the same Belle Dress at Target about $10.00 cheaper! :furious: Everyone seems to have pretty much the same things available except for what's available in & around the Parks, but of course those are REALLY PRICEY! Thought we'd stock up before going so we don't get "conned" by the 4 yr old to spend even more! :Pinkbounc Probably won't work though!

We just got home from Disney on 09/9/06 and first of all....what a great time..no lines...no crowds....kids rode all the rides multiple times and we saw everything we wanted too. Anyway back to the topic....while we were there my DD 8 went to the Bippity Bobbity Boutique and had the castle package (the works). She LOVED it. She got hair, make up, nails, gown, crown, shoes, light up wand....everything. They even gave her make up, nail polish, and a pretty pagent type sash to in a little Bibbiy Bobbity shopping bag. The best part for her was the "photo shoot" after. They have a great little studio set up around the corner where I swear she had about 30 photos taken. We then got to choose our favorites and we received an 8 x10 and four 4x 6's. The total package was $197.03 w/tax. I know it was pricey but sooooo much fun and something she will remember forever. The pics are great too. I'm not able to post pics here but if you PM me w/your email I will gladly send them to you.
