So we are about a month out from our trip to DL and I still need a princess dress for DD. We have a reservation at the BBB and I know I will not be paying for a dress there, talk about an arm and a leg for a dress soooo where can I get a decent dress?

I have a Disney store kinda by me but not that close.

Im trying to save money so am really hoping to get one before we go.

TIA

Does it have to be a Disney princess dress? We have a store near us that sells prom dresses, wedding attire, and little girl's dresses. We took our daughter to the store and she found the cutest chocolate brown satin and rhine stone flower girl dress that she fell in love with. The best part is it cost us 30 dollars, on sale from 120 dollars. She has worn it for several special occasions since. Since we had that dress, we made her BBB reservation for hair, makeup and nails only. She did the hair style that comes with the little princess crown. She didn't mind one bit that it wasn't a Disney dress because she still felt like a princess anyway. She had many compliments from other guests and cast members.

You can see some of the pics here:

Im ok either way but my daughter LOVES princess and is at the age where I think she would like to be dressed as one.....shes 5. Its a suprise trip so im trying to find it without her knowing and thats a bit harder too.

I will check the loval bridal store we have here at the mall, really if it is pink or blue I think it would be fine.

Thanks for the idea.

I've done the same as grafxgirl - bought my Little Princess's dress on the internet via ebay. Was a beautiful white flower girl dress with pink trim - LP fell in love with it. (It was actually custom made and of the best quality. We bought it for less than $30, including shipping.) Have also bought bonafide Deluxe Disney dresses which for the most part LP felt were too itchy... tho they were beautiful.
BTW - my LP is my granddaughter - so I can call her that - LOL!
Here's another source for princess dresses:

It may be too late for you to purchase on-line, but the link may help someone else.
I suggest you also try local consignment stores.
Good luck!

I know some people won't go into the store, but while I was at Walmart a few days ago, I noticed a display of Disney princess dresses. My daughter and I had to figure out what princess wore the green dress. I figured it was from The Princess and the Frog. She's 19 so neither of us have seen the movie. We liked the green dress though. :) Sorry, I didn't notice the price.

We get all of our costumes off of ebay, ours actually turned out to look better and were better made then the parks.

On occasion, I've found Princess dresses at Target for around $20. Probably not the best quality, but they served their purpose and didn't cost an arm and a leg. ;)

ive gotten disney parks dresses on ebay new with tags (same ones still available in the parks) for half price or less...
my husband says they must of fallen off the delivery truck!:lmao::lmao:
