I dressed my daughter for the Princess Storybook and was glad I did. I bought the costume at the
Disney store after Halloween and paid next to nothing (I also saw the costumes at Marshalls and TJMaxx for $15 or $20 before Halloween). They were selling costumes outside of the Norway pavillion for over $65.
I am not a stylist (nor play one on TV!!) and put a ponytail in my daughters hair, twisted it around and around and around the ponytail holder part and Ta-da..a nice bun..for free! I saw 2 or 3 BBB hairdos that day, out of a hundred girls!
I did bring a change of clothes and threw the costume into a bag when we were done. My intention at the time was to just throw it away after using it (I only paid $12 for costume and shoes!!), but it wasnt the hassle I thought it would be carrying it around.
For 1900 PF, I had a Cinderella costume. My daughter was a bit tired and a little cranky that morning and didnt want to wear the costume. We didnt feel one bit out of place. I didnt even notice what anyone else was or was not wearing.
The only reason I was glad about the costume at Princess Story book was because when you walk in, you get a free 8 x 10 picture with a princess. It just made the pic look a little more special.
