Princess dilema: Tiana Riverboat v Akershus

My DS (3) will be turning 4 on our May trip. He is really into princesses- his older brother (7), not so much. The common theme between the two of them is Star Wars. I don't see the Star Wars desert party/fireworks listed in May- so I'm going to check out our girls

Since we haven't done a whole lot of princess experiences before- wondering what you guys think of either the Tiana's Riverboat party or a dinner at Akershus. We have been to CRT before (but don't feel like killing 2 TS credits there). Im game for any other ideas that you guys may have...

Akershus. Hands down. The reviews for the 'Tiana's Riverboat Ice Cream Social' have been generally negative. Akershus is also a great 'value' on the dining plan. Plus 4 to 5 princesses versus 1.

Riverboat Party has not been well received because one of the so-called benefits simply does not deliver as advertised - you do NOT have a better view of the Parade.

Further, Tiana is the only princess you meet on the Riverboat, whereas no fewer than 5 princesses walk through at Akershus.

Save your energy for the nighttime Star Wars spectacular.
