Just wondering. We thought about seeing #2 today, but we haven't seen the first yet. I don't want to see the 2nd one if it will affect by not having seen the first one!

I haven't seen the second one yet, but we are planning to take the girls to see it this weekend. But, I would guess it's a continuation of the first, so yes, I'd see the first one before the second!

I would run out and rent the first one before seeing the second, I think. Saw in the paper that the second got a "D".:( Oh well! We've been counting the days and we're off to see it in a few hours with older DD's buddies. Our big day-before-school-starts blow-out!!

Toward the beginning of PD 2, they show a few quick scenes from the first movie that catches the viewer up. It certainly doesn't replace seeing the first movie, but if you wanted to go to the second right away, would probably suffice.

Our paper gave the movie three stars out of four. We saw it on the Disney Visa preview on Saturday and really enjoyed it. Parts of it reminded me of the romantic comedies of the 50's and 60's. Girls of all ages seemed to enjoy it.

We saw PD2 this afternoon. I think that without seeing the first movie much of the character development would be missing. You get to know who is who in the first movie.

It was very cute / nice movie. A great girl movie, don't let the reviews scare you away.

dizagain - Did you go to the 11:30 showing at Vista Ridge? We were there!

Thanks for the input! We'll probably rent #1 tonight then and maybe see #2 this weekend.

Just saw it and I would now most definitely see the first one first!
Have fun!

Janette...Hi! We went to Grapevine Mills at 1:45...they gave it two of the BIG theatres and I've never seen so many little girls in one room!

We saw it at the preview last Saturday also, and DH keeps saying how much he enjoyed it!!

We saw most of PD before, but due to a brain cloud on his part, we missed the last 15 minutes or so. :(
