Princess Descrimination

I think we've all got a "beef" with Disney -- they have, perhaps, purposely excluded one true princesses from the roster.

It's a definite case of Myrmecophobia - ant bias.

That's right, ants! How come Princess Atta doesn't have a place along side her peers? What, don't Pixar Princesses "rate?" Billions of ants visit both Disney World and Disneyland each year, but their (tiny) voices are not heard. What, should little ant-ettes grow up emulating Snow White, a woman who preferred hanging out with those smaller than her?

I'm disgusted.

IMHO, if the ants visiting Disney want to have their Princess, they nee to start paying admission...if they all did that, prices for the rest of us would go down across the board!

My DS2 would definitely agree with you! A Bug's Life is his favorite movie, he loves Flik and Princess Atta. We've seen Flik at WDW, but I just looked the other day to see of Princess Atta ever made any park appearances.....yes, we may need an ant uprising

Stop the protests and throw out the picket signs.
Princess Atta has appeared in Epcot and my daughters actually took pictures with her several years back. She was in the World Showcase near the model train display. I do not know if she still makes appearances but she has in the past.

She was in the Block Party Bash parade at DHS last August.

While she may make appearances from time to time, she's not pictured in the princess roster photos, merchandise, or stage shows. What good is being a "Disney Princess" if they can randomly exclude you.

I do have to agree, though, that IF those cheap ants would simply pay their fair share at the gates (30 millions ants weight the same as an average human, give or take). Soooo, what's 30M divided by the gate price at WDW? Sounds like the ants would be getting a GREAT deal!
