Hello everyone! Just wondering if anybody has been on a Princess Cruise. We are taking one next month and don't really know what to expect. It is our first Princess Cruise. Any tips or hints would be great.

Thanks a bunch. :flower:

Princess is GREAT! We sailed on Princess to Alaska a few years ago and it was wonderful. They really go above and beyond! Have you sailed before? If so, what cruise lines, then I can have better idea of what to tell you to expect? You will enjoy them regardless :)

We've sailed on both the Grand and the Caribbean Princess and had a blast on both of them. Lots to do, something for everyone. Did the ships excursions (sp) and enjoyed those. The only thing I didnt like about the Caribbean Princess was the walking/running track could only be used 8pm to 8am since the rest of the time it was used for sunning.

Our family went on the Grand Princess three years ago to the Eastern
Caribbean. We had a GREAT time, and we loved the ship! The shows
were a lot of fun, and the food and service were great. There was so much
to do. The ship was HUGE! I would cruise Princess again in a heartbeat.
There are sites where people review their cruise experience. I originally went
on a site....cruiseopinion.com. I'm not sure if it's current now. I read a lot
of reviews and chose Princess. Which ship are you sailing on?? HAVE FUN!!!!

Thanks for the info everyone. We are sailing on the Star Princess for a Caribbean Cruise. We stop at SanJuan, Tortolla, St. Thomas and their island, I can't recall the name of it. I'm going to look up what I can on Cruiseopion.

Thanks again!

The Star Princess is a nice ship. :) Do you have traditional or "anytime" dining?

Princess is the best! We cruised 2 years ago... for spring break - they had the max capacity of children (including ours) - the ship wasn't overrun, and we all had a GREAT time!

Check out the princess boards over at www.cruisecritic.com... for everything you've ever wanted to know about Princess!

The island is called Princess Cay...Duh!!!

We have the traditional seating at 8:30. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Thanks for the link to cruisecritic.

My parents are leaving in April for their third year in a row on Princess. I think they have been on the Dawn the last two years in a row. They love it.I have never been on cruise.

We were on the first sailing of the Carribean Princess last year. Also doing a 10 day over Christmas on the Star I believe. We really enjoyed Princess(since we are going back :teeth: ) but it wasn't the same as DCL.

I was wondering the same thing . . . we are looking at taking a cruise next year. Thanks for the heads up!
