Hi!

I have looked online and can't seem to find if there is a Character meal at the Disneyland Resort that has the princesses.

Does anybody know?

I have been to Storytellers when my daughter was younger and LOVED the breakfast. But now she is a princess loving big girl.

I *wish* they had a Princess Breakfast at DL- I'd be all over that :)

The closest you can get is they usually have a princess or two at Goofy's Kitchen (Ive had Belle, Jasmine, and I think one or two more- Ive done the Princess Breakfasts at WDW so Im getting fuzzy who was where...)

I know Ariel can be located at Ariel's Grotto...

Thinking of taking the kids to Goofy's Kitchen. Does anyone know if there's discount coupons for this?

Thanks.

I know there is an AP discount (10%) and I *think* AAA gets a discount but other than that I dont know of any discounts

At Goofy's Kitchen we've seen Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, and Aurora (unfortunately, not all at the same meal; but since they vary the characters with each meal, a couple of meals on each trip have given us a good selection). They definitely have a AAA discount - I use it all the time.

Ariel is always at Ariel's Grotto at DCA so that's your only sure bet of seeing a princess. She rides out on a cart that gets parked at the front of the restaurant, so she doesn't go around the tables like the princesses at Goofy's Kitchen. But Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale do, so that keeps the kids at the table (and eating their food) during the times when Ariel goes on break. Ariel usually comes and goes two or three times over the course of a meal.

We've NEVER seen a princess rotation at Goofy's Kitchen...so I would not put my $$$ on catching princesses there. We've seen them stationed out front for pictures, but not going to the tables. But we have seen others you don't usually see in the park, like Genie or Alice in Wonderland or Donald Duck.

Ariels' Grotto has her stationed out front to meet and greet also....I like the food better here, anyway.

Frankly, the best place for princesses is along the sides of the castle in DL...we've met every princess every time we go when we go around the sides of the castle...sometimes we are the only ones who are there (no line, lots of individual time).

Also in the Fairy Tale gift shop they have a princess story time (I believe there are posted times). A princess and a 'helper' come into a back corner of the shop and they have children gather round and the princess 'tells her story'. It is quite delightful, but a very small space and I don't know if this is an 'all year' event or only seasonal and it may only be certain days of the week . We saw Cinderella (and her helper was a castle page, a very talented and funny young man) back in April.

I just read on mouseplanet today that there is a rumor going around that the Winnie the Pooh characters may be replaced by the Princess at the Plaza Inn character breakfast. Just thought I'd letcha know!

Also, there's talk of making Ariel's a Mickey & Friends character meal.
