Well they have beer flights there too (Think "Beer Garden" )
However, we're more wine people.
Either way, a flight is several glasses that are similar.
We had the Riesling wine flight. $14 for 3 glasses of wine that went from good to really good!

Those looks so good right now! Whenever I buy a Riesling I look for "late harvest". They are always the best. Thanks for sharing that pic. I was reading the whole thing, thinking, with a meal I can do three glasses.

Oh Caitlin! I am so sorry to hear about your toe! Which one was it???

I broke my pinky toe really badly on the afternoon before we left for our last Disney trip! Had it X-rayed and the doc said I "did a number on it!"

I followed all the docs prescriptions exactly- iced it as much as I could, kept it elevated. Took Alleve every 12 hours for a week.

Oh- and I put extra soft cushioned insoles in my shoes.

Even with all that, I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt! I cringe to think about you running a race on your broken toe!

Ok so if breaking the toe wasn't an odd enough occurrence a week before the trip the latest thing that happened takes the cake!
So I was ironing mine and Caitlin's clothes for vacation and Dale's work clothes for while we're gone and while ironing I was texting Cait who is on campus today. Between texts I sat the cell phone on the ironing board, well it fell off. Not a big deal,right? WRONG! It slid across the kitchen floor and got stuck in the grates of the heating vent. I had to take the vent off and when I did.......yea the phone slid out and down the heating duct I tried to reach in after it and now my knuckles are bleeding and my arms all scratched up And no, I couldn't reach it.

I keep trying to tell myself next week you'll be in Disneyworld but I keep thinking what other weird things are going to happen between now and then

So now I'm off to find a new phone because I'm pretty sure this one isn't coming back

Thanks Michele! I always knew ironing was bad

I guess I didn't take the time to think that sticking my arms (yea i tried both ) wouldn't be the best idea.

Anyway, I ordered a new phone and since my contract was up a few months ago I got one free and it should be here by the end of the week.

That's why I have my friend Brenda do my ironing, it's bad for your health and phone apparently She has what I call an unhealthy obsession, which became apparent when she arrived with HER iron as she doesn't think mine does a good enough job Probably because I bought it in 1991 and have used it maybe 10 times

No more weirdness is gonna happen, I hope, no I'm confident I can't believe in you're there next week

Glad to hear Caitlin's toe is feeling a bit better! I was so concerned that my cast wouldn't be off my hand by the time we left in August...it was, but I don't think it should have been. Every now and then at work when I'm on the computer, I feel that twinge in it.....probably should have had it recast...

I have to tell you that it was kind of weird when periodically throughout the day I would hear my phone go off from under the floor When Dale got home he tried going under the house, we have a crawl space, but there wasn't any trap or anything in the venting to allow him to get it Yep my phone is permanently stuck! Very random indeed!

That's so funny because I said the exact same thing last night I told Dale I feel like the "Tell Tale Heart" where the guy hears the heart beating under the floor boards

AAAHH a week from today we will be in Disney World!!!!!!! I have such a busy rest of the week ahead of me as well. I have two mid terms on Thursday then I am going to Indiana for the weekend with my student alumni org. I'm the President and it's our annual midwest conference. Then I have more homework to do on the Monday and Tuesday before we leave... Oh yeah and then we are going to see.... Disney on Ice!!!!tonight!

So in honor of our one week from now we will be in Disney I present our last day of plans!!!!!!!


Monday March 8th

We will start off the morning by taking our bags to get checked and checking in for our flight

We then have a before park opening breakfast at the Crystal Palace and we will be having another DISmeet with Michele (MyMuse)!!!

Then we will be going to Fantasyland and riding all of the old favorites

We will then wait for the ToonTown rope drop to go see Pixie Hollow
I feel like a kid again every time we go to Pixie Hollow because I am always starstruck by the fairies

After our meet and greet with Tink we will repeat any rides or go to what we missed

Then we will be having lunch at either the Plaza or Casey's
I'm voting for the Plaza!

Then we will hang out at the park until it is time for us to head back to the hotel and be picked up by the ME at 4

Then we will be home around midnight and I get to sleep and go to class the next morning

So sorry to hear about your phone & your poor hands & arms Dawn If it makes you feel any better the baby dropped mine in the bath tub one time & I wasn't anywhere close to getting a new phone , so I had to live with it water logged an all and to top it off the 0 would not work well , you had to hold it down forever to use it ! Glad to hear you should get a new one quickly

Thanks Angie! We've never had a phone in the tub but we have had them get waterlogged before too My contract was up in Oct and they offered me a new phone then, I guess it's a good thing I waited
