She is still in some pain but Aleve seems to help. It is a lovely shade of purple though! We're going to call the doctor in the morning and see if they want her to come in. Thanks for asking!

You're welcome, hon. I'd been thinking about her. Of course, if she's still too bad off when we meet, we'll just leave her and Piper to gimp together and make off to the closest bar LOL. Seriously though, glad the aleve is helping and keeping her in my thoughts!

Caitlin has been doing all the posting of our plans BUT I have planned a suprise for her and my mom on this day so I'm posting our plans because well, I'm hiding the itinerary from her


This day will be starting very early for Caitlin as this is 5K Day! This is Caitlin's first 5K and since it's the "Royal Family" 5K she is very excited! (Tiana and Naveen are the hosts)The race raises money for a Leukemia Foundation and Caitlin is participating in honor of a young girl we know who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
Now that I've given you some background ,here's our day....
6:20 am Caitlin cab to Epcot
7:00 am 5k Race
9:00 meet up at Epcot (after mom and I have had breakfast at Pop foodcourt)
Trade GAD ticket for fast pass option since park may be busy today
Caitlin and Gramma ride Soarin
Innoventions West and East
Test Track
11:00 head to World Showcase
Movie in Canada
12:00 lunch at Chefs de France (we planned to do this Sunday but discovered Remy is off on Sun)
After lunch split up while Caitlin does Kim Possible and mom and I explore the Flower Fest and take in the American Adventure
3:00 meet in Uk for the British Invasion
Leave Epcot for suprise...

After the suprise, we will see how everyone's feeling and decide if we want to return to Epcot or visit DTD or go back to resort. Keeping it flexible since Caitlin may be tired after the party Fri night and the early call for the race!

If we don't catch Illuminations on this night we will go the next night

In case it isn't completely obvious by now, my family does not do well with suprises We truly have a hard time keeping Christmas gifts a secret so this is rare that with 9 days to go they are still in the dark

We had a great weather weekend here in southeastern lower Michigan! Temps in the 40's for 3 days! It really felt like Spring was on the way! Then we wake up this morning and what do we find? MORE SNOW!

But who has time to complain about snow when there is dancing to be done?
That's right kids it's time for THE SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!

I'm always up for celebrating a single digit dance.

We won't be able to do one for ourselves for another 120 days, so I'm good with dancing for others until our turn comes.

I've been fortunate enough to go during Flower & Garden Festival time the past three years, but this is a lean year money-wise, so it's a no go. I was reading about the Princess and the Frog topiaries between MouseGear and Test Track. Will you get some good pictures of those for us?

Hope Caitlin is up and walking well by trip time.

In honor of our Single Digit Dance day I thought I would post an update

Sunday March 7th

Today we will be going back to the Animal Kingdom!!!

We have a before park opening ADR at Tusker House
I have been wanting to do this ADR for a very long time so I am looking forward to it. I guess it's become a tradition to go here on Girls Only Trips because my mom and I ate lunch here on our last one.

I will then ride EE while my mom grabs fast passes for Kilimanjaro Safaris

After we will be meeting up with Amanda (Pipersmom), Piper (MommysPiper) and Amanda's mom/ Piper's grandma we will all be watching FOTLK together then going over to Camp Minnie Mickey for pictures
This DISmeet is going to be one of my favorite vacation moments! This trip is very special as it is Piper's Make a Wish trip and I feel so lucky that they are going to share some vacation time with us. Piper and Amanda are two amazing people and if you would like to get caught up with their PTR it's called Piper's Practically Perfect PTR and the link is in Amanda's signature.


After our second DISmeet of the trip we will finish up at AK and head over to Epcot

We will be having lunch at the Biergarten and roaming World Showcase and the Flower and Garden Festival

We will be finishing up this special day by watching Illuminations

Whatever you do...just don't my Mom you're leaving us and going to Biergarten...she might abandon us!! Tusker House always sounds yummy..I didn't dare make breakfast ADRs..I'd have to get Piper rolling waaaaay too early! Also wouldn't make sense since we have a good b'fast at the village anyway.
