I liked it, thought it was good, but it wasn't really a "princess" movie. That's not a bad thing, but it wasn't what I was expecting - it was more of an adventure than a romance. The only thing I really didn't like was the score - Randy Newman sounds too Toy Story.

That's what I loved the most about it- it wasn't your typical Priness story.

Tiana was just your average hard working girl and that made her all the more lovable to me. The characters all developed well, except Dr. Failier... I really wish there had been more character growth or background there.

This is an old quote but ITA like you read my mind! The Songs were GREAT but in one of the opening scenes I was like "Toy Story??" He needs to expand outside from that same tune/sound.
