Princess and the frog ride????

I do think a Tiana restaurant would be a nice addition to the Port Orleans resort somewhere...seems to make the most sense

I doubt anyone would miss Boatwright's, that's for sure. Rename and re-theme the restaurant to Tiana's, and change the menu to be more traditional New Orleans style (and, you know, actually make the food good), and it might be a modest hit.

Would they be able to fill enough seats to warrant putting a character meal (say, breakfast) at a moderate resort? They stopped doing breakfast at Boatwright's a few years ago due to poor bookings, but a character meal might be a totally different story.

Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella have castles which are the park icons...

Not attractions and Walt hardly built attractions based off of his films except for Fantasyland. All of TL, Frontier, AL (except for SwissTree house) and New Orleans Square were original attractions.

So the idea that Walt built a lot of attractions based off if his films us false I'd say 95% if DL were original non character based.

It's only recently that Disney refuses to build original attractions.

IMO no one over the age of 30 noes who Tom Sayer is and I'd love to see it rethemed but to say Tiana deserves it is a huge stretch.

:surfweb:Sleeping Beauty castle, Cinderella Castle, Fantasmic was inspired by Fantasia. So yea..... :ssst:

Again those are Castles and not attractions.

Your argument is flat out wrong there isvno other way to look at it. FL was the only land Walt had a lot of his films have rides. No other land did they were all original attraction except the Tree House.

So you are wrong.

We love Tiana at our house and her movie. The music is awesome, great characters and a colorfull villian. I understand she is not a classic princess with years of experience under her dress but she was based on a classic story I think? I also like that it moves a Princess into an area at Magic Kingdom which has no Princess....Liberty Square. She may not get a ride but I thought I read somewhere she is the theme behind the new remodeled rooms at Port Orleans? That being said perhaps a Character Dining experience at Boatwrights would be a success?

How does a princess from New Orleans fit in Colonial America??

Anyway DLP is rumored to finally get Splash Mountain bur it would have a PATF theme instead if Song of the South.

I know its a little bit off topic, but being young I was wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to watch song of the south. I've been searching for a while and have not found it. (it was viewed as racial i believe i remember reading)

I bought mine on eBay it's a good film nothing raicist about it Dumbo is a million times worse. The live action scenes are kind of slow but the animation is classic.

It does not necessarily "fit" to have her there historically speaking I suppose. BUT Disney has put her there in her garden for character signings and I think it's great. That combined with her presence in the new remodeled rooms at Port Orleans is a smart move "geographically" speaking. We will be staying there for sure! :)

I disagree it's a terrible fit it's like putting Woody in TL.

Where else would they put Tiana? Liberty Square may not be the right place for her, but what's better? We went in March 2010 and seeing Tiana was the only thing DD wanted to do. Tiana was tucked away in the gazebo near the Christmas shop, so it wasn't like she was out right in the middle of Liberty Square. It would be nice if Disney had an appropriate "land" for each princess, but it's just not realistic. Considering the choices, I do think the gazebo in Liberty Square is the best place for her.

BTW, a Tiana character meal at POR would be great! She is DD's favorite princess and as far as the princesses go, she's the one I'd like to be DD's favorite because she's hardworking and wants a career. Her life's not all about wanting some prince to fall in love with her. I would love it if Disney would do more with Tiana for those reasons.

I would Retheme TSI as WDW's version of New Orleans square and put A PAtF ride there but that is what I would do.

In reality if my idea wasn't approved I just wouldn't put a PATF attraction anywhere in WDW but maybe try DL.
