Hi! I have posted this elsewhere, but then I thought it would be good to get a Brit perspective on these parties!! . . .

My DH and I are going to Disney in May and I have just noticed there are some Princess and Pirate parties being held while we are there. We have never been to any of the special events at Disney. Would these be any fun without children? We love Disney, we're not grumpy old adults (not quite!!), but don't want to be the only ones there without kids!!!

Thanks for any help you can give

Hi! I've booked 3 tickets for Mickey's Pirate & Princess Party on May 9th and we're a group of adults. :thumbsup2 I went to MNSSHP last October with my grown-up daughter and had a great time! You'll definitely have fun and won't be the only ones without kids - give it a try!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Went twice last August.........have started getting my outfit ready for this August. Special parade is done twice during the evening, with a rare appearance of Tinker Bell. Fireworks are super, with some good effects projected onto the castle. Special viewing area set aside for AP holders. In one word...............BRILLIANT............although, not too keen on the chocolate !

Apparently they don't give the chocolate anymore, just the beads, but I'm the same as you Wolves I didn't like the chocolate either :scared: :rotfl2:

Not heard this, DW & DS are not happy, they are chocoholics.

If there is to be no free chocolate (sigh) is Main St Bakery kept open for the night?

Hi, Personally we would do any of the Disney parties without children. Probably would not dress up like we do now with a 13 year old but many do.
This was last August Pirate night, going again 4th April.
