Prince Charming outfit? (Well, Cinderella's prince ...)

I am trying to help someone else out who's looking for info.

There is a couple who wants to marry with a cinderella theme and the man (the man! Can you believe it!) seems to want to dress up in Prince Charming regalia with the white jacket, the gold braid, the epaulets and the whole thing. Oh and stripes along the trousers, right? (Routing through my brain searching for what exactly Prince Charming wore ...)

I realize that most men in fairytale weddings wear a tux, lol. But it seems like there would be a "Prince Charming" jacket available somewhere and if there was, someone here would've seen it.

If not I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to get a men's tailor to add those things to a white jacket or a stripe to the trousers, right?

I believe there is an adult Prince Charming costume that Disney shopping was selling last year (DF was bummed because they had him and not Prince Phillip) - you might check there to see if they are still in stock or ebay.

That's the adult Prince Charming costume that Disney Shopping has. Actually it's on sale right now for $50. You could always check with a costume supply store that does rentals. I've hear that they have all sorts of stuff like Cleopatra, a mermaid getup, Robin Hood, etc. They may have some higher quality stuff that they could just rent!

Not very helpful but just wanted say that the man is lucky! My daughter, who desperately wants to have a disney wedding someday, was thinking of doing an Alice in Wonderland theme with the groom as the Mad Hatter, that is with the hat too
