Does anyone know where you can get a boy's Prince Charming costume? (or possibly a pattern to make one) We would probably need a size 10. My daughter is going to MNSSHP as Cinderella and I would like to coordinate their costumes. Thanks!

Wow! My sons would stick a fork in their eye before they would dress up like Prince Charming, even if he does get a sword! You must has some power of persuasion. I think there was one in the disney Halloween catalog last year. Good luck! That sounds like so much fun!

The Disney Store always has a great looking Prince Phillip costume around Halloween but I've never seen a Prince Charming.

I think you're right1 I get the princes confused. I know I find awesome costume pieces at the consignment and thrift shops. I do kindof enjoy putting things together that way!

We have the prince phillip costume---it is very heavy weight and would be hot.

I would just have your DS wear a cape and a crown.

Good luck!!!

Sorry to come late to this thread. DS (4) loves to be a prince. I found pattern at JoAnn Fabric sizes 3-8. Runs small, I'd get an adult size if you need a true 10. I made DS a size 8. Tabard, Cape and hat. It turned out very well, and I am not a seamstress. I am guessing I spent under $30 for the fabric, notions, etc. Took me about 10 hours to put the whole thing together.

I made the cape reversible with navy blue heavy serge type fabric lined with cherry red tafetta. VERY heavy!! DS loves it, plays with it lots (batman on the blue side, Robin on the red. Prince Phillip red side, general superhero on the blue).
The tabard was VERY easy to make. I also made him a sash/belt to tie the tabard with and he is wearing that and the hat (with plume) to CRT lunch. He'd love the cape too, but it is VERY hot!
PM me if you want to know more.

Two years ago I made an adult prince charming costume. There was no pattern at the time so we used a pattern for a civil war period outfit that had the right jacket to it and just used the correct color combination.

If you sew you could make one the same way they have the same outfit in children's sizes through simplicity.
