My DD found out yesterday she had won tickets to the premiere at the O2 tonight but couldn't go as she had a GCSE today

Luckily she is a sensible girl and knew there was no way she could go. We did look into rushing up there but wouldn't have made it in time. She was so good about it and notified the competition organisers so they could allocate another winner.

I feel so sorry for her ~ she loves everything to do with films and the Narnia books have always been her favourites.

Arrh bless her! I think it says alot about her though to make a decision like that. Very grown up. Do you have a showcase nearby? They have luxery seating area for about £10 per person, prehaps she could save up and go with a mate as a treat.

Ahhhh thanks, I think I'm more upset about it than her. Apparently everyone who went got to walk up the red carpet.
I might not get another chance!!

We don't have a Showcase near us but we can still go and see the film and maybe go for a nice meal afterwards. None of her friends will be interested in going (they aren't into Narnia like she is) so luckily I'll get to go too!

Thank you for all your kind comments, she's doing really well with her exams and just got two left to do on Monday.

Luckily she didn't fret too much over not being able to go, I think I was more disappointed for her than she was herself,
if you know what I mean!
She's got her school prom next week to look forward to, we've treated her and her friends to a limo. Oh, to be a carefree teenager again!!!
