Does anyone know what this is? I looked under the first week of June for park times and parades and it showed a Prince Caspian Pre Parade.

Plus it didn't show if they had fireworks every night even though it was open during the week until midnight.

I don't think it would be too different than the other pre-parades. For Enchanted, for example, they had (are having?) Giselle come out in a horse-drawn carriage in her wedding dress.

So is that to say that it is just a group of Narnian characters walking the parade route ahead of the parade start? Or does it take place somewhere specific?
I called the Walt Disney Travel Company today to ask about it and the "cast member" didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about.

Bingo, it's just a mini parade bit (imagine if you just had one section of the parade, like the Lion King float, complete with music and appropriate characters) that goes out along the parade before the official parade. Ratatouille had not just a float for Remy and Emile, but dancers dressed as chefs as well.

Wewt for C. S. Lewis!

I caught the pre-parade before the 3:30pm Parade of Dreams today. Some pictures below. It reminded me of the Enchanted pre-parade.

The face character looks like Prince Caspian from the movie poster.

There were four different standards being carried. I assume they represent something from the book/movie.

And the lucky stable attendant at the rear of the procession :)

Nice pictures! They must have been so hot...

The person in that role for the Enchanted pre-parade we saw was just hilarious. She had a little bouquet of fake roses she kept inside the lid, and made funny faces, opened the lid, brought out the roses, and did a whole "oh they smell so sweet" pantomine at the guests. Made an unpleasant job (can you imagine finding out you got THAT role?) into a really funny memorable moment. :)

In our Enchanted experience, they came out about 10 minutes before the start of the actual parade. Breaks up the waiting, when they have the walking advertisements, er, pre-parades!

We saw this on Friday evening and yes, not only did it break up the monotony of will-this-ever-start, but it also created an awareness with my kids that the movie is coming out soooooon!
Prince Caspian did look pretty cute.
