Primo Piatto & Bar Riva: Share a kitchen?

Tried searching for this. I seem to remember hearing, a while ago, that Primo Piatto and Bar Riva share the same kitchen. Also that from Primo Piatto, you can order from the Bar Riva menu and vice versa. BUT--- I don't trust my post-menopausal memory!!!! So can someone refute or confirm this?

I have heard you can order from the Primo Piatto menu at Bar Riva. I have noticed they share some menu items. But I've never tried to verify this cross ordering rumor myself, though.

I was in Bar Riva in July. We ordered a drink, and I told my son I was going to Primo Piatto to get the Parmesan garlic fries. The bartender heard me and said she could place the order for me from her register. I asked if I would need to go pick them up, which was fine with me, and she said no need and brought them to us when ready.

I'm 99% sure the kitchen is the same, and I've definitely ordered the tuna nicoise salad from bar riva.

Came here wondering the same thing!! Also curious if anyone has firsthand experience with how busy Bar Riva gets around 1-2? I know it's pretty limited seating.
